It's an Indian version of a welfare hotel. Dirty, noisy, bad service, internet if i stand in the hall but great location and a bargain for Singapore! You decide. Is a cheap but crappy bed with no amenities worth the (low for Singapore) price?

Went their for business meetings. The rooms are very small and not very well kept. Toilets are too small to use. There is no room service and the Breakfast - I could not eat that. For me, will never go there again.

We stayed at the Claremont Hotel, coincidentally at Singapore F1 time, because of a lack of available accommodation. The Claremont Hotel is dirty. Very dirty. The furniture is rubbish, there were cockroaches, lots of them. We had to wrap our pillows in towels as they were mouldy. The location is not bad, it's very close to MRT, restaurants and shopping.... Singapore is a costly city especially for hotels and us being Indians wanted to stay close to Indian community. This hotel is just opposite Mustafa megastore and walking distance to Little India. It is hardly 800m from Ferrer Park MRT, so it saves to use Taxi as Singapore is a well connected City. We used the room primarily for sleepovers... More

Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
