Yes the location to the MRT and Chinatown is good. Consistent with other reviews, the rooms are very small. Room (at the rear) without a window and corridor was so, so dark. Rooms at the front are brighter but you will be kept awake with the street noise as the hotel is located in amongst some good night life. Rooms...

Dear kaiyagirl, Thanks for your review. Naumi Liora does not have the facilities that can be found in big hotels. However, it is a preserved building that is rich in heritage culture. What we offer are strategic location, a comfy bed to rest and great service from our Naumi Aides - allowing you to immerse in the Chinatown area with...

I loved staying here, yes the rooms are small, but they are well designed, simple, lots in the room including small fridge, instant coffee, ironing supplies all tucked away in that room, you have to be spy to find it! Lol A great location To Chinatown, and perfect if youre the type who spends all day exploring Singapore and need...

My mom and I were sharing a room and I must say off the bat, their rooms are quite small and have just enough room to get by. We unfortunately chose a room without windows because they were on sale(oops!) and so it was a little stuffy, but the rooms were clean and came fully equipped with a kettle and...

This hotel was a great location. The staff were helpful and friendly. I thought it was a great hotel for the price. The rooms were very small though. But they were clean and comfortable so we didn't mind that it was a bit small! The breakfast was a voucher for a nearby bakery that was delicious!

First of all the staff are great as is the location it's the hotel itself that is the problem. When we arrived we were offered the choice to upgrade the room, we didn't want to scrimp as it's our honeymoon so we paid the extra $70. The room we upgraded to is tiny, I hate to think what the other...

Dear Tristan G, Thanks for your review. We regret to hear that your stay experience was not as pleasant. Naumi Liora resides within a restored 1920s Peranakan-styled townhouse, and still preserves several of the building's architectural features including its French-styled windows and 'five-foot way'. To this end, we try to keep as much of its original look and feel and...

This is a small hotel close to China Town. Rooms are compact. Bathroom we had was a wet room which I always find very impractical. No restaurant but we found a lovely café close by for breakfast - Crepe Diem - out of hotel, go right and keep walking to end, about 5 minutes. See review of this café -...

I love this hotel because the staff are friendly and they do keep it clean, and they go out of their way to oblige. The location is also good and just a few minutes walk from the metro. The decor is slightly rustic by comparison to the glass/ultra modern/marina bay sands type of accommodation. But I actually quite like that,...

And like all hotels in Chinatown, "little" really means little. First, though, the good news. Naumi Liora is a wonderful, clean and friendly little hotel in a location that makes Singapore seem like one of the most interesting cities in Asia. We stayed at this property over the weekend. Perhaps our experience would have been different if we had stayed on a weekday. Let's start with the positives. Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
