Budget accommodation at a great location in Chinatown next to the markets & Hawkers food market on Smith street. The hotel has free wifi. There is no elevator but is only 3 flights of stairs. Breakfast is not offered but we did have in our room a kettle and fridge, but there is enough food just around the corner to...

Dear SSCREW, we hope you have a wonderful stay with us. Indeed, we do not serve breakfast thus offering a more competitive room rate and within the vicinity, there are many varieties of food which I'm sure one will be to your likings. Please look for me or any of our front office colleagues on your next visit and we...

the hotel is located very close to Chinatown metro station, plenty of restaurants around. Within walking distance to marina and Orchard road. The room itself is clean but very small, though fully justifies its price. The staff was not very helpful (i forgot the camera at the airplane upon arrival and ask at the reception to find contacts with airlines and...

Nice hotel for a small budget at a great location, near the market and food street. The rooms and shower are big enough, the beds are good. The hotel has free wifi, no elevator and offers no breakfast, but there is enough food just around the corner.

I stayed only 1 night here, and since I was going solo, I chose single room. The room is small, as is advertised in booking sites, but the bathroom is surprisingly ample with bathtub, too. If you have big luggage, you're going to have trouble putting it in the room. And there is no lift - the hotel has 3...

The rooms are well equipped, very clean and the location in China Town could not be better. Unfortunately, they do not offer breakfast. Good sleeping quality of mattress. Staff could, however, be friendlier and more welcoming...

We arrived after flying from the UK feeling very tired, we went straight to the hotel and were able to check straight into our room even though it was only 10.30 am. The room itself was very very small but pretty and clean and perfectly positioned for all the attractions and night life of china town and is very near...

Who would believe that there are cockroaches in one of the hotels of the world's cleanest city! My regret is that I didn't take the previous reviews serious enough which, resulted in a flying cockroach on my forehead greeting me in the morning. It was a late night for me, so I checked-in late and couldn't be bothered with the...

Forced? Yes, because everything is devilishly expensive in Singapore. I would maybe like to spend all the time in imperial room of some fashionable hotel, but something stops me. Here, in The Inn you have a good price and comfortable location versus small rooms some of which are even without window. This is one of the houses in the China-town...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
