We had an awesome stay at the Grand Park City Hall Hotel. Just 10-15mins walking distance to the very famous Singapore merlion. Hotel is really nearby every where. And the best part about my stay is that the manager on duty Mr. Sufri is very helpful and attentive to details. Gave us a beautiful connecting room too. Will definitely come back here to stay again should I ever visit Singapore.

My wife and I stayed at Grand Park City Hall for 6 nights in January 2020 as part of our honeymoon. We absolutely loved it here and didn't want to leave. There was a bit of a mix up when checking in and we received a Deluxe Room instead of a Premier Room. When we advised the staff, they went above and beyond to rectify the issue. We received a complimentary bottle of wine and Crystal Club membership for the duration of our stay, which allowed us access to the Crystal Club lounge on Level 9. We had a buffet breakfast every day and enjoyed Judy's delicious personalised omelettes. We were also able to enjoy complimentary food and drinks in the lounge from 6pm-8pm each night. The staff in the Crystal Club, including Judy, Jill, James, Melody, Aini and Kripa, were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Our room was modern, clean and comfortable. The hotel is in an ideal location for exploring Singapore, with lots of attractions within walking distance and with many MRT stations close by. We had a midnight flight and the staff kindly extended our checkout time to the afternoon so that we could have showers before our flight. We highly recommend this hotel when staying in Singapore.

The central location was great , lots of places within walking (10 to 20 min) distance.
Everything else was only 10 min taxi ride.
Check in was smooth and reception staff all easy to deal with.
Club was small but well catered and where you will meet some exceptional people. Notably in the club were - Thomas, Kripa and James
The food quality in both club and restaurant were of a high standard.
The pool was very well setup , except for shade, there is a definite need for a portion of this area to have some high density shade sails or similar.
The room itself was compact, (we normally choose larger floor plans) but in Singapore these are much more expensive. The Eco friendly air-conditioning was painful, every time you left the room it would reset to a default setting (NOT cool) so on return the room after a walk in the sun the room was warm and uninviting. Getting a system of re-adjusting the air con settings first thing was necessary.
A base overall comment would be, Great staff make for a great experience.
Would stay there again when next in Singapore.

The hotel is clearly not the Ritz but the price we paid was well worth it for the services provided. Location is central, if you fancy a bit longer walk you can do both Little India and China town, my wife did both in the mornings before it got too hot. Room is spacious and modern with everything you'd need + tea/coffee/other freebies.
Due to an illness in the family we used just 2 of the 3 nights we had booked. Our rate was non-refundable but we were given a decent food/ drinks voucher that we were happy to spend at the bar- bar food was simple but abundant and tasty and the service was warn.
Reception can be improved though- it was quite slow during both check in and check out.

My sister and I stayed at the Grand Park City Hall as a stopover break before going to Vietnam. We stayed for three nights in the Crystal Suites, which was great value and included access to the Crystal lounge as well as breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktails with tapas during the early evening. We had the pleasure of receiving great service during our time from James, Jesmond (who makes a great Singapore Sling), Narein and Judy (who makes a great omelette and berry smoothie and will cook your breakfast to your requirements). The Grand Park City Hall is in a great location - walking distance to many popular sites including the Marina Bay Sands. The hotel itself is very stylish and very clean. We both will be definitely staying there again on our next trip.

This hotel is such a nice and cosy hotel. Booked a family room and was amazed by the room. Even my kids was excited. It consist of 2 rooms which 1 room is a king bed and another room consist of queen bed with pullover. The kids room have kids tent, kids robe and even blackboard for them to scribble. My kids enjoy every corner of the room. The other room was big. They have a king bed. The side tables consist of usb plug so if u forget to bring your charger fret not. Just buy the usb cable and plug it in. This 2 rooms have individual toilet with a big bath tub and tv at each room so no need to fight with the kids if u want to watch your movie. The room was super clean. Can’t even see any dust. Lighting was good. Alot of amenities inside the room. The complimentary soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner smells so good...
This hotel can use your mobile phone to control the lighting, aircon. No need to walk over to the switch if you r tired. You can even open the door with your mobile phone. Need them to sync it if you want to use all this high tech function. If you have any problem with the room or need anything you can just message them through the apps. Even for room service.

The staff was friendly. Always put a smile when you need or ask something. From the concierge to the check in counter. Every single staff welcomes you..

No regrets in choosing this hotel. My kids was sad because it was a 2 days staycay. They wanted to go again. Definitely will choose this hotel for the next school holiday. Thank you grand park city hall for making this short getaway a good memories for us...

If you are looking for a relaxing staycation with customer service, look elsewhere.

The hotel facility is rather new but not well maintained, the hotel did fix them after I inform them of the issue as I felt it was hazardous. Beddings were comfortable, but we did not sleep well because the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. It was an odd shape, extremely high and hard.

F&B was average, 1 of the F&B staff was particularly chatty and I found the whole dinning experience a little noisy. I'm a coffee addict but this is the first time I hate the coffee so much I had only 1 sip of it. This is a first for my experience with hotel's coffee.

The pool is rather small, sufficient for 4-5 groups of guest as most guest brought children along. However, no one was there to monitor the number of guest in the pool area. Even if you have no booking, you could enter the pool area using the room key card. I also don't see anyone cleaning the pool area after each 2 hour block, even if you stay at the pool pass your booking time, no one came to remind you that time was up.

The booking system for breakfast/afternoon tea/cocktail/pool/gym was simple, scan the QR code in the room and book via the chat. Lights and aircon can be adjusted with the one and only control panel at the deep end of the room. If you are not IT savvy, you are in trouble. Took me a good 15 minutes to explore the panel.

Great location by the way, minutes away to MRT station, malls, Fort Canning Park.

Overall, I would say this hotel is ok if you are looking for good value and fuss free stay. But I won't pay to stay in this hotel if not for the promotion.

The first hotel room they allowed for us was disappointing as it closely faces an adjacent building. My wife whose birthday we're celebrating for feels unsettled. The saving grace came in the form of hotel staff Miss Aini who went out of the way to ensure that we get to choose from three other high level open facing rooms. We really loved the room as it was on a higher floor and faces the Love pool, lush fort caning hill and the heritage armenian church. We love the room setup - a superb bed mattress from Slumberland Presidential which we had never slept better, the open glass wall new age bathroom that gives us a feeling of openness for the loving couple romancer in us that allows us to watch the big 50 inch led tv while in our shower. For those whose shy to exhibit their his given body endowments you can bring down the blinders with just a soft button touch. We love the way the TV merged into the wall so as not to hinder the room space with unnecessary cupboard stand. We love the comfortable side of the window bench seat with a collapsible table to have a romantic dine in and enjoy the lush foliage view of the first caning hill. We love that we can remote control the room a/c, fan and lights with a phone size touch pad on the wall.next to the bedside. Easy access card to get you to your room floor and into your room was really a breeze. All in all this five star hotel.goes beyond our expectations. Need to mention about thecool pool where we can deck in the pool and enjoy the high quality pipe in music. The gym is small but we love the track and cycling machines that is fitted with a real life video images of your ride or run. The hotel is located in a very good area where it's so easy to get around and shop. Big Kudos to the grand park city hall hotel.

Nov 2019, I went on a mother/daughter vacay to Southeast Asia w/my mom. As most can imagine, the long haul flight(s) traveling from Toronto to Singapore can be quite dreadful and exhausting. Luckily we flew with a great airline, EVA Air and was welcomed with warmth from Singapore the moment we landed. Needless to say, vacation was already off to a great start!

I reserved the Grand Park City Hall Hotel via booking.com months in advance. I find that in most cases, you will come across much better deals when you book well in advance. I have been using booking.com for years now, and as a long term customer, I am offered with greater deals and discount due to my loyalty.

Grand Park City Hall is situated in a heart of Singapore's downtown/financial district. It is walking distance to everything from local cafes, to shopping malls, restaurants and most importantly, public transit (MRT). There are many local drug stores and convenience stores like 7-11 around. Although the hotel has a nice Resturant on site, I would recommend eating at the local restaurants as there are so much to choose from. Just a 15min walk away from the famous Raffles hotel, where you can check out the birth of the country's famous Singapore Sling cocktail. Be ware, there's always a line up and it costs $33SGD. But hey, you only live once, why not give it a try while in town, right?

If you have seen the movie, Crazy Rich Asians, the famous church in the movie is just a 10 min walk away. Marina Bay Sands is nearby too .... you can walk or take a bus or MRT. It is more of a 25mins walk depending on how fast you walk, and since Singapore is so hot and humid all year long, you are better off taking the public transit!

The room was clean and spacious. Super high tech with energy savings technology, and if you download the hotel app, you can even use it as a key to your room and to control the hvac and lighting system. Pretty neat feature!

On a negative said, our room didn't have the best view. It was facing the building next door, and looked like it was a driveway to the building parking lot and a space where most smokers take their breaks. Needless to say, the view was nothing but cars driving by and people smoking! With the room being fairly dark, we couldn't even open up the blind freely because of the view. The other negative point is that we found a lot of dead flies in the shower. This problem was brought to the hotel concierge's attention the morning after our first night's stay, and immediate action was taken.

As my first visit to Singapore, I was quite pleased and impressed with my stay at the Grand Park City Hall. Location is excellent. Cannot go wrong!

Strongly do not recommend this hotel. Out of all the hotels we’ve been to, this is the worst one of all. Prior to our stay, we’ve kept our expectation low after reading all the reviews. Amazingly the actual experience couldn’t even meet our low expectation. The room is nice, love the bed and bath tub, but the customer service is close to non-existent.

We have tried calling the front desk a few times to request for water, soap, bath towel etc. It took us more than 10mins each time or even longer, that we have to go down all the way to the recep. Worst is even after requesting, they only get it sent to us after 2 hours... is just merely water bottle, soap etc that we’re requesting. When questioned on why it took so long, it was merely brushed off and said that there was a delay. Even their own staff was unable to explain what the delay is caused by, which is extremely laughable because it simply shows how efficient they are and how much they value their customers.

We got the room with the club access, however due to the closing of the club lounge, we only get to enjoy the cocktail at level 3. Speechless with the services there. First day when we reach to enjoy the cocktail set, the couples seated beside us got served food and nobody serve anything to us even though we were there 15mins before the other couple, until we went to ask for it. We were then served the same time as another couple who were there 30mins after us.
Other couples were also served additional cakes which we didn’t get it. Is it because we only book club premier and not suite? Why the vast difference in treatment may I know? 2nd day we were there, the other couple got serve before us as well even though we were there before them and it’s the same guy that served us.

The breakfast is good though, also the servers when we have our breakfast were so much friendlier than the one that served us for cocktail. Guess this is the only part of our 3d2n stay that we experienced good customer service.

The customer services have ruined our stay here. Definitely the first and last time here.

In our suite, there was a double/king bed and another single bed pulled out of that one. There was also an extra mattress in a cute tent-/wigwam-like structure where my daughter slept twice just for fun, but, technically, there are no three beds. Either two of them have to share the big bed or one can sleep on a mattress in the tent.

Yes, there is a button as soon as you enter the toilet on the right side. That also controls the toilet lights.
