Four Points has always been my #1 hotel in SG and I have stayed there for years while on business travel. This trip, I have booked the same hotel for my family as we were there for 3 days on holiday - the experience was world-class and for that, it is also now my family's #1 hotel choice in SG. From warm greetings upon arrival, to ensuring my needs are promptly addressed during my stay, the team knows how to make each guest feel special. Thank you so much Four Points for your attentiveness and your warm welcome - I can't wait to be back.
Stayed 3-nights for a casual business trip in this hotel and it was surprisingly great. Positives: 1. Location definitely is a highlight here, plenty of restaurant and bars around the Riverview area. It's also good if you want to do a morning walk/run along the river. 2. Hotel room is a bit small but it just works for me alone. Decent amenities, iron+iron board, hairdryer, etc. all decent. The cityview from 19th floor is amazing. Decent noise isolation too. 3. Services are great, from the front office, housekeeping, and waiters/waitresses both at the Best Brew & Kitchen and Eatery. Excellent! 4. While there aren't many extra perks offerred for Elite member status, I think the inclusion of free 5-drinks everyday during happy hour (6-8pm) is much appreciated. The Singapore Sling that I had during the National Day was good. I also had the Mookata set for 2-person and it was a good experience. The lunch set menu at Eatery is also surprisingly decent, I like the Nasi Goreng Istimewa and the Seafood Mee Goreng. Negatives: 1. You may want to reduce the excessive use of desinfectan, I can smell it all over the place in my room. I understand Covid-19 is still a thing even in Singapore, but maybe you can reduce the smell a bit by using natural essential oil or something that doesn't smell like a hospital. 2. While the breakfast buffet has plenty of options, I found the salad bar is very lacking. Only greens, babby tomatoes, and beetroot. No other condiment such as brocolli, corn, red bean, cucumber, onion, etc.…
very disappointed with the fact that the hotel sold the nice pool area with a bar, no sun nobody working in the bar. This is the main reason I booked the hotel. Besides this the hotel is pretty good value, the bfast buffet isnt very good quality.
My family went for a New Year Eve dinner at their Chinese restaurant. This hotel had been given 4 stars by Expedia. I would not assign anything more than 3 stars. Their automated car park system was so antiquated. The system refused to accept the presently rolled out Ez-link Motoring Cash Card which can be used for Electronic Road Pricing and all other car parks. By rejecting my valid card, a tailback of at least 4 cars ensued. It was so embarrassing. I had to buzz for help. The senior parking staff did not even realize that their system does not accept my card. I had to agree to pay cash at the reception before departing. I subsequently parked in Basement 2 and had to climb 2-3 flights of stairs to reach the Hotel Lobby. After a quick dinner lasting just over an hour, I went to the reception and had to explain my case. The male staff on duty then called the senior parking staff who then took $6 from me for parking charges without issuing a receipt. Marina Bay Sands charges less! The whole process of clearing my parking charges had taken nearly 15 minutes. There was absolutely no work around processes for what I would deem to be a non-unique case. I would not return to the Hotel out of trepidation of repeating such a horrendous experience. In this case, the Sheraton brand does not deserve a premium rating.…
Four Points Singapore is a hotel that Always have a place in my heart as i have been staying for quite a number of years. The Team Members at the hotel never fails to recognise me (even though they always address me wrongly). Team Members always know my room preference and always make my stay as comfortable as possible especially those at Best Brew who knows my favourite drink. My Favourite Team Member has to be Huei Sim who always make my stay memorable and extremely comfortable. Arguably one of my favourite person in the whole "SPG" chain in Asia. 1 thing i hope is they will serve Starbucks Coffee for Elite Members during Breakfast. Overall, a hotel i will visit again and again.
Comfortable stay, newly renovated rooms, AMAZING breakfast buffet. I did not expect all these judging from the exterior of the hotel, but here they are. I know hotels like Ritz-Carlton or Fullerton may get all the fame in the hospitality industry, but underdogs like Fourpoints really made me opened my eyes, to believe in theres more to meet the eye. I enjoy my stay here fully. Very impressed. Thank you front desk agent Joan for your excellent customer service.
My wife and I stayed here for three nights on our way down to Australia for the cricket T20 world cup. I will be honest and say the reason we chose it was, although it wasn’t what I would call cheap, it wasn’t as eye-wateringly expensive and other Bonvoy hotels in Singapore. The location isn’t as central as some, but it was a fairly easy trip from Changi airport. We got the MTR to City Hall and then a 55 bus dropped us right outside the hotel. Public transport in Singapore is brilliant, it is clean, efficient and cheap - you don’t even have to buy a transport card - just tap your credit / debit card each time and you get a single charge for the days usage. There isn't an MTR station very close to the hotel, but the frequent buses will take you to several in the area. The hotel itself if large, clean and modern, it is very handy for a whole slew of restaurants and bars that line the river. There is also a very nice river walk that takes you all the way down to Marina Bay. We had a nice room on the 14th floor - it wasn’t a Riverview room, that apparently have a free mini bar according to an email I received before arrival, but it was a nice room. We found that the safe wasn’t working, so reported this and an engineer appeared in minutes to fix it. The breakfast room is huge and has a wide and eclectic choice of food. A nice choice of food and very attentive and efficient staff. The bar in the hotel was also very nice and very popular, it serves the local Tall Tale brews and was most welcoming. There is a large shopping mall, which is a fairly short walk along the river, it is called Great World City Mall and has lots of very nice eateries and higher end supermarkets. All in all, we would have no problem staying here again on our next visit to Singapore, especially if the rates continue to be favourable compared to other Singapore Bonvoy hotels.…
Hotel was acceptable but food was not acceotable. Everything I tried was served totally cold, from breakfast buffet to room service. Not even warm just cold. So then you have to plan to get food outside hotel. Just very inconvenient. Get your act together Hilton
I stayed here for 2 nights and it was really nice. The staff is very attentive and helpful. Their breakfast buffet was excellent with lot of choices. And the location is very convenient with calm and quiet surroundings. I would love to stay here again.
Stayed at this hotel for the second time over three months. While the first time everything was fine, this time regretfully the service provided was inconsistent. Got a room upgrade due to the loyalty program status for which thanks. Interaction with the reception staff was definitely nice, however some other departments such as room service left a lot to be desired. On departure day, ordered some breakfast as I had an early flight. After 45 minutes, still no news until someone called me to ask me if my order had been delivered. I informed it was not the case and that I probably would have no time anymore as I needed to check out soon. There was not even any sign or any word of apology, instead the person on the phone did even sound like he was finding this situation amusing. I personally do not find it amusing to experience such discomfort. In view of the very high room rates they charge, they could at least have some customer-oriented attitude. Needless to say there are more than enough other hotels in Singapore for a next visit, obviously the lesson learnt is that loyalty does not mean anything.…
