So this will be my worst experience of life in terms of hotel stay. I stayed in Arianna hotel, little India Singapore from 20th may till 22nd may 16. I chose this hotel to explore livelý little India and friendly neighbourhood which gives the feeling of home far from your home. Nice food around with all the hustle bustle. So...

My previous visit to this hotel was in average as stopover hotel. But last week, their services were getting worst. No smile from all staffs, Aircon very noisy, room smelling like very bad. This hotel will not be my recommended again. Until, they might be in works with any chain hotels. The owner should mark this!

1st it`s not as shown on internet, for me it was a big scam. The room is more than tiny, if you put your bag on floor you won`t be able to move around, no window, unclean, never ever use their towels. I asked for a seat, the answer was no. Value for money is zero, the area around is...

I was on room 316.. Room was very dirty, smell very unplesant (I can't sleep because of the smell), bed cover also dirty.. Water from bathroom come out from the wall, so it makes wall very moist. The room was too small. I also can hear the voice from outside (very noisy).

I expect, if I had gotten a room with a window, it would have been a slightly better experience. Slightly. I did not know, when I booked, that some rooms did not have windows. After reading reviews, I realized how terrible the windowless rooms would be. I called a week in advance to ensure a room with a window, but...

Small rooms and dirty rooms. Lobby full of greasy dirt. Location is perfect right in front of Mustafa shopping centre. Its a budgeted hotel that is all. Not reccommended for family. Lot of India restaurants on the same where this hotel is located.

At around SG$60, this is probably one of the lowest priced hotels in Singapore, that is not a hostel. It's respectable. Whilst the building is old and a bit shabby, the hotel is clean and well managed. Being located in the heart of Little India its full of Indian people and surrounded by Indian restaurants. The hotel elevator works OK,...

Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
