+: Not too expensive, opposite a 24-hour shopping centre, close to Farrer Park MRT station, open 24 hours -: staff weren't friendly and weren't very helpful, the room was rather small, the mattress was hard

To me, its budget hotel. The attitude of the receptionists was good except one. He was trying to misbehave with the customer and no helping attitude was found. But rest two was the vice versa. The location of the hotel is really best, its oppo of Mustafa Center.

A budget hotel with small rooms, dark, only one small window overlooking a busy and noisy street, a bathroom that has no separate shower, so tracking water around can be hazardous, the heat is not adjustable, so you either have air conditioning or you don't. But it is set too low and my wife was too cold, so I had...

Very, very tiny, dark, (no windows) low ceiling, not very clean rooms. Extremely hard beds and a bathroom you might want to avoid... Not a pleasant place to be. Location is very central so this makes it a bit better. If you are in Singapore just one day it is might be a budget option, but reconsider if you stay...

If you dont want to ruin your vacation, go and find another hostel where you can stay. You will just waste your money staying here. Rooms are dirty and small, even towels are dirty. Save yourself from this hotel!

I had booked this hotel for stay between Sep 23 and 27, 2016. On arrival i was asked to move to another hotel about 5 km away as the room i had booked was not available. The hotel staff was impolite in promptly asking me to take a taxi and move to the new hotel. After my stay at the...

Hotel is located in bargain street, Syed Alwi Road in Little India, in front of the Mustafa Mall. Surrounded by food stalls and a 3 to 5 minute walk to Farrer Park Metro Station. Hotel rooms are small and so for the elevator which may need a minor maintenance. Bed is quite hard and toiletries are not around. So if...

This place is strategically located in Serangoon. The Major Advantage is that the eating places, shopping area is just couple of foot steps away. Yes Farrer Park MRT is about 3 minutes walking distance. But Singapore is not only Little India? It has many to offer. Going to places from here is convenient because of MRT. But the price you...

Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
