The hotel is near the MTR station Chinatown. Rooms are so small even the family rooms that's why we opted to get another room for our kids and nanny. A bit dark because not well ligthed. Small elevator, and lobby. What I like in this hotel is that they have a friendly staffs very accommodating even on the wee hour...

The location was great and very easy to find from the Chinatown train station. The rooms are very small and I doubt it would have been comfortable for a longer stay or if you plan to spend some time in the room. We were charged a $20 "early check in fee", which we were willing to pay after a long...

Although the hotel is located in a really good location (Chinatown), the room quality itself is just ok. The rooms are really cramped. After we kept our two luggage suitcases in the room we barely had any space to walk within the room. The room services are just very basic. The hawker center for food near the hotel is really...

I knew going into my reservation that the room was going to be small and I was still a little shocked as to how tiny the room was. The hotel was considerably cheaper than any other hotels in Singapore with a similarly good location, so I was willing to overlook the size of the room for the price. I was...

Pros: very good location, 2 minutes walk from Chinatown tube station, comfortable bed, very good shower. Cons: room with no window ( is it legal?), hot water doesn't last for very long, if you want to leave your luggage in the hotel after you check out, they put it in the lobby where anybody's could touch it

Pros: Location and price. The hotel is significantly cheaper than many others in the downtown area. Decent bed and shower, the essentials for a hotel stay. Cons: Room size. Be warned, the rooms are SMALL. Fine for the solo traveller but a bit cramped for two people. The rooms our party stayed in also didn't have windows, which could be...

I love this hotel. It's not place in the heart of chinatown so it's a cozy place. But you can walk from MRT about 3-5 minutes. No breakfast. Has elevators. Room is small but OK. Bathroom is clean and has a rain shower. Appliances is OK. Way to the room is complicated.

I stayed here because of the Chinatown area and the great street food/hawker centres nearby. I had booked a single room which was tiny -they advertis the rooms as much bigger than they are. The room had a single bed against the wall that I could just fit into (and I'm not that tall). I would say the room size...

Stayed in the theme suite. TV channels limited with lots of statics. Bed size is big. But the pillows were too soft we had to use the cushion from the sofa for added support. No breakfast or FNB outlet in the hotel, though there lots of eateries nearby since it's in the heart of Chinatown. Even though we were on...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
