Stayed 11 nights on unscheduled stop. Despite no window (turns out I don’t mind) a simple very clean room, good security, clean clean bathroom (women only on second floor) and lovely little kitchen facility. Staff on the desk were super smiley and helpful (cleaners were good but one particularly not friendly at all but hey ho). Great location right- Tanjong Pagar has a lot of character and close to Maxwell food court, city museum, business district, mrt- i pretty much walked everywhere.
I stayed in room 113 for 5 nights from 1-5th Nov. The location, cleanliness, friendliness of staff, facilities and value are all ideal. However, they all come with an enormous cost, and that is the proximity to the nightclubs on Tanjong Pagar St immediately behind the hotel. It seems they have permission to blast their music till 03:30 am and take full advantage of that privilege. Worse still, it is not the noise but rather the bass vibration that permeates everywhere. There is no escape! When I commented to the hotel staff, they said there was nothing they could do because the nightclub "shouts at them" when they complain. Conclusion: do not stay here unless you are a party animal that only wants to sleep from 03:30am!
Booked a cabin S with no window and hoped for the best. Thankfully the room was spacious enough that i didnt really have to worry about where to place my items. It fit all the needs of a solo traveller (ie. Comfy bed, small desk and smart TV) and although I was weary of the shared bathroom situation, everything went well. I really don't mind the no window aspect since i know i'll be able to step out of the room from time to time. Appreciated the cook lab and its available utensils and cutleries as well. Will definitely recommend to others! Also great location!! Near maxwell food centre 😁
I needed somewhere for a short stay and this was exactly what I needed. I stayed in the standard single room. It’s extremely clean and modern with a well equipped kitchen. The staff are also very friendly and helpful when I had a few queries. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
I arrived around 9pm at the hotel and had to stand in the foyer and download the app to check in. Others were sitting on the only lounge chair. The sign in app refused to accept my NRIC, so, after many attempts, I reverted to a saved copy of my passport that I luckily had on my phone photos. It then gave me access to my second-floor room through iPhone. I dropped my bags off in the room. See photos, The room was very very small with a massive mirror. Heads up, that I paid a low rate, so was not expecting too much but thought it would be bigger… I had taken the shared bathroom option and soon found out that there was no men’s bathroom on the second floor. Up the elevator to the third floor I went. The small elevator was full of folks heading up to the St Signatures nightclub on the top floor. This was run independently of the hotel). I tried to access the 3rd floor hotel door but failed and locked out of phone access. I used the “help” kiosk to ask for assistance and was sent a long access code that was required from that point on to get into my room. Still no third floor access. Finally, I see a Japanese guest very frustrated. Wearing just a towel around is waist and dripping wet. He type in the kiosk that he left his phone in the room. Not good. I left the hotel without even staying a single night and gave up 4 nights pre-paid. I checked in to one of the nearby TP hotels.…
This is pretty fine co living hotel. Clean though room is pretty. Small. There's one major screw up. They hold your deposit of $80 for up to 2 weeks( depends on the bank release). I have been to so many hotels. Most hotels don't collect deposits or if they do, they will return it immediately as they collect cash. This is really a major screw up holding our money like that.
Perfect Location! just several minutes to the MRT Station. Lived there for a week. Anything is good. There is a large common kitchen on second floor where I have used the microwave :) Will try again in the future
This hotel is super clean, comfortable, excellent location. Friendly check-in staff. The kitchen is quite good, the coffee maker is fancy that contains good quality coffee beans and it makes different coffee styles: cappuccino, expresso, regular coffee... However, the kitchen staff should be more friendly. Overall rating: 5-star hotel
I stay in TP branch for almost two weeks, and have never regretted it, the location was a plus point 1 to 2 min to TP MRT, full of cafe, pub and eateries like maxwell food centre and many more ! They do daily cleaning for common area and they provide excellent services, if you encounter any issue during check in or check out they replied instantly, ST signature definitely deserve a five star 🙌🏻
The location is pretty great with 3 MRT stations on walking distance (with the soon to be opened Maxwell MRT). Walking distance from Chinatown (durian!) and close to Faber nature park with a nice treetop type walk. The place has good aircon and looks somewhat fancy inside, the internet is quite good and definitely good enough for videocalls and work. They also have a deal with very nearby coworking space (N9) that is quite convenient if you need to work. The room is tiny, but I didn't mind that at all. Good for focus. Service seems to be pretty great: I requested a room change (to a room without window) and got it very quickly :)
