We spent two nights at the hostel, and I would have easily extended if possible. To start, we showed up 3 hours early to check-in in hopes of ditching our bags. Not only was that totally fine, but the staff was so friendly and helpful and even took care of payment and everything so that when we got back all...

Stayed here with my girlfriend for four nights! Brilliant hostel, very comfortable and super clean. Best hostel I've stayed in during two months of travelling so far! Value for money is unbeatable! Comfy beds with tv on every bunk and 1000s of movies Available to choose from and Internet on demand on tv too! Very reasonable laundry rates at $12...

Friendly staff and guest. They will make sure you have a comfortable and pleasant time. Safe. Everything is literally walking distance, like a block away, as far as shops, bars, Chinatown, plaza and eateries. I came here for 1 night, solo traveler and wished i could stay longer. You will definitely meet other travelers here. No complaints about this place.

Location is very central and even great according to local friends, room/bed is very private, even being in a shared room, very helpful and friendly staff and price is good. Would definitely recommend. One of the better hostels I've stayed in!

Upon arriving we were immediately served with a local 'mazipan' infused tea drink...a welcome change I might like to add! The hostel is conveniently located within Chinatown and its notorious street eats just around the corner as well as easy access to the MRT. You are literally spoilt for choice! At the time, I hadn't planned my trip to Singapore,...

I was there for 6 nights, i get a great cabin with my own light and socket. It's clean but the bath is a combination between toilet and shower (if you use that one on your room level, there is another on the groundfloor. This one are splited. They have a great system to lock your staff, during the check...

They let me check in early as I was super jet lagged from my long haul flight. Not a hostel for socialising, definitely for peace and quiet. The pods are great and private. Great location and easy to get to. They email you instructions on how to get there. Only cons are I didn't like how the toilets and showers...

stayed with my 11 yr old daughter and really enjoyed a classy peaceful, comfortable, safe hostel stay amidst bustling Singapores chinese heart. super kind & helpful staff, easy going and great value for money, feeling very homely. Scooters to rent are a great asset, a few steps to MRT, fast internet and movie night in your private box, super clean,...

Great place to stay if you want hostel prices but want a bit of privacy! We were given little pods with curtains so didn't even feel like we were sleeping with anyone else in the room! Very clean, given towels and the staff were really friendly. Great location, 2 minutes walk from china town. Basic upper class hostel.

it's super clean, quiet, friendly staff with good service - certainly above my expectation for hostels. It's like 2minutes away from the station. There is Google TV in the cabin bed with Dr.Dre headphones. Even after coming back from exhausting day, I couldn't stop watching the Walking Dead ;)

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
