I really like the location of this hotel. It's really close to MRT chinatown station as well as all the cheap and delicious food in Chinatown. The hotel reception man is very friendly and welcoming. The hotel bedroom itself is quite small but it's quite a good size for 2 of us so it's not a problem. The bedroom is...

It was a very pleasant stay in this hotel. Spent 3 nights and all the major attractions were in walking distance from the hotel. Great location, clean room and friendly staff. The room was a bit tiny, but great value for money.

We were staying just for the one night but leaving early for the airport - trying to get a sleep was awful as the bed was tiny. When trying to get ready it was like an obstacle course cause the room was so small. The bathroom is pretty much a shower over a toilet! We ended up leaving early to...

My family stayed for one night during transit between Phuket and home. Booked a family room, which indicated that it could accommodate 5, but the room was only equipped with 2 queen beds. This wasn't a massive issue for us for us for a single night, but any longer and it would have been difficult. The hotel is located on...

The wifi is good. We booked a twin room but were given a double bed (advertised as a queen). After some negotiation the manager gave us a single room for free. So we were very happy with that. We booked online which was much cheaper than booking directly.

We stayed here for 4 nights.... terrible experience , the room was very small but honestly after the first night we were ok. But the room and corridor was very very very dirty!!!! And the staff , except for the gentleman of the check-in, are very rude, arrogant and very unfriendly. Be aware that at the check in they ask...

I traveled to Singapore with my friend on Aug, 2016. This hotel is located in China town, it takes us around 15 minutes by foot to MRT. The twin room is very small with only 10 m2, which is the tiniest room i have stayed, having a small space for luggages. We requested to stay in high floor but they...

The photos from hotel booking websites are misleading. The actual room is really small, where 2 people cannot move around without one crossing over the bed. The Bad: - Requested for twin beds when booking online through Agoda, but didn't get that room - Room is small, difficult to move and may be claustrophobic for some - Room had no...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
