In the heart of clarke, close to party places and work places alike. You are minutes walk away from the Clarke Quay MRT station - can get to anywhere within Singapore. Yes room sizes are small, the breakfast is the same everyday - i know because i stayed 4 nights but very friendly front desk staff - Albert in the...

Will not return. Not clean. Tons of women's hair all over the room. From shower to floor and around bed. Thin walls. Apparently an 'hours' hotel for the locals. Great location. Nice building from the outside. No atmosphere from inside and no 1918 fair to it.

Spent one night with our family here on our way to Indonesia. Location was good with China town and the river walkway nearby. The hotell is in need of some rehabilitation and the breakfast was mediocre. Rooms were airconditioned and relatively clean. Staff were friendly. Price was better than many of the other hotels in this area. Wifi was slow...

Good points - 1) Hotel is European colonial-style, clean and accessible. 2) Its very near to metro station (2mins walking distance), which in turn helps to get around the city. Also, its helpful if you plan to go to Zoo/ Sentosa Island. Taking cab/ taxi may be expensive and metro is very good option. 3) This hotel is also very...

This is a nice hotel to stay at. It's not too much of a budget hotel and not a luxurious hotel either and is just average. The design is sort of victorian. The rooms are indeed quite small and the bathrooms can have little privacy if you're not staying with a family (you can be heard in the whole room)....

Not a hotel to recommand, it is owned by a chinese family and they want to make money, but the breakfast is poor and the breakfastroom is old and not clean, room was small and you had to wash in the room because there was no room in the bathroom

The hotel offers clean rooms with a clean and comfortable bed and a clean bathroom! It is at a walking distance from MRT, Marina Bay and China Town. They provide a good breakfast...and it has a good number of eateries nearby! The neighbourhood is quiet but safe.

There are two Jayleen hotels in CQ. And this one lies at Carpenter, a small road, very near to the MRT. Although a little bit old fashioned, the room is very clean, nice for a simple trip and a comfortable neighbourhood. Also near to every activity centres in CQ area. You can also try doing evening jogging near the bridges...

It's close to Clarke Quay, Chinatown, several subway stations and thus some other touristic places. We spent 2 night in Singapore and visited several touristic places and this budget-friendly hotel did just fine for us. Friendly staff, alright-breakfast and a good location.
