We loved our stay here. The prices were so reasonable for a beautiful air conditioned room in Little India. The staff were wonderful, breakfast was excellent & nothing was too much trouble. Thank you :)

So the location wise is consider as good because it has nearby MRT train station (Rochor, blue line). I went there with my sister for Coldplay concert, mind you that the hotel is basically cater for couples but we don't really mind because we really wanted to try it out. The perks of it has to be their friendly staffs...

Very cool vibe to this place. Warehouse style bar and restaurant on the ground floor, with rooms above. The higher you go, the bigger the rooms. Second floor = tiny TINY rooms. Great if you just need somewhere to crash and that's it but you don't wanna spend any time in these. Third floor is more like a normal hotel...

Booked the Wanderlust for overnight stay pre-cruise. The location in Little India was ideal for beginning a short exploration of Singapore"s traditional ethnic neighborhoods. We were originally attracted to the Wanderlust because it was 'different', if certainly did not disappoint. We had booked a mono room but got upgraded to the Whimsical, it was a treat. I think it probably...

I have spent 3 nights at Wanderlust and overall it is an average/good hotel. I stayed in the orange pantone room, which is bright orange and tiny. I wouldn't recommend it for 2 people. For a solo traveller it is ok. The hotel is located in Little India, very near Rochor MRT station, 5 minute walk. The hotel is in...

I'm loyal to SPG so I was very excited to stay here. I got the yellow submarine room which I hated as it has a silly layout with a bag tub which I don't need yet no sofa to sit on. Everything is tiled so it feels like one big bathroom with a bed. Luckily it was not noisy and...

You have to give this place points for imagination and it's great if you want a change from predictable bland hotel rooms. I chose the mono room as some of the other colours looked a bit overpowering. There are things to like - lovely clean, crisp bed-linen and fluffy quilt, comfortable bed, Nespresso machine, free soft drinks - but I...

We were here approximately 12 hours, but any longer and we may have changed hotels. This had the feel more of a hostel than a category 4 SPG property. We are loyal to SPG but would never recommend this hotel. Upon entering and presenting our information, there was no small talk and no greeting from the hotel staff. My husband...

Had a great stay at the Wanderlust hotel, which had a contemporary and funky hotel design. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and service was reasonably friendly. The room designs are probably more suitable to younger travelers though, and not ergonomic for older folks with mobility issues.

to be honest, we are really very disappointed, the moment we stepped in the room, we regretted our decision. The room is very dark, and right next to the elevator, so can't really opened the curtain without being seen, but the light is so dark and you feel you can't really open the eyes. I think the reason is to...

Dear Emily, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us following your stay. Please accept our apology for the less than stellar experience you had. As all the rooms are individually designed, we understand if the room may not be for everyone's liking. Our team would be happy to assist with a room move if there...

Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Wanderlust in Little India draws madcap, curious voyagers to the old ethnic enclave. Made for guests with a sense of adventure, we invite you to walk the unconventional path where a radical hotel experience awaits. Its history began in the 1920s as the Hong Wen School, where the building at No 2 Dickson Road still retains its old-world charm with an unchanged façade. Situated 10 minutes from the cosmopolitan stretches of Orchard Road and the Central Business District; Wanderlust also offers door step access to a bustling, colourful street life. The four storey boutique hotel has 29 rooms. Just as no 2 rooms are identical, the same can be said for each floor in the hotel. It features the groundbreaking works of award-winning Singapore design agencies. Each agency was given full creative freedom to design an entire level in the hotel, resulting in four, different ‘in-your-face’ themes – ‘Industrial Glam’, ‘Eccentricity’, ‘Is It Just Black and White?‘ and ’Creature Comforts.’ ... more   less
