Given the Coronavirus most are not able to travel oversea. Glomourous Camping or more commonly known as Glamping is the best way to have a getaway vacation in Singapore own backyard-East Coast Park. A unique experience that is trying memorable.

1. Tent location was in between 2 toilets and it’s a distance to get to either sides. Not convenient especially when you have young children. 2. Tent was dirty. The utensils were so dirty and it seems like they were never washed! Thankfully we brought our own utensils. The piece of wool rug on the bed was so dirty with stains. Towels looked like rags and there are no shower gels as shown in the tent pictures. Fans were provided and one of them was broken down and with a broken leg! There were 2 air beds and when i told the tent specialist that one of the bed will deflate even after I pumped it, he kept saying it’s working. Guess what? I slept on the floor as the bed totally deflated during the night! So awful to pay $240 for less than 24hrs and to be tortured in the night with the hard floor. I had to pay for a massage after that as my body was aching with pain. 3. The company dun seem to be very honest too. I had informed them at 1:30pm (check in is after 2pm) that I have already reached ecp and asked when will the tent be ready. He said the tent specialist is already there setting up. Feel like telling him pls try to find a better excuse in future as I happened to be right next to the tent which was assigned to us eventually! No one was there and the tent was locked. If they had been sincere and someone was indeed there to set up, probably they would have checked the defects which I have mentioned earlier. So it’s a total misrepresentation when they say the glamping experience is just like any other hotels. I think the experience would have been better with my own pitched tent! 4. The check in and check out time is really unfavourable to the campers. I had initially didn’t think much abt it when booking the tent until I experienced it. Check in is after 2pm. This timing interrupted my itinerary as it’s a neither here Nor there timing. After my brunch, I had wanted to go fishing and had to drop the idea eventually as I had to get ready for the check in. Cannot do anything in between and time was wasted. Check out is before 9am. That’s way too early and no hotel has that timing! The total hours given is really too unreasonable for a booking fee of $240! Imagine I have to wake up early like 6am, get my kids to wash up at the toilets which are a distance, packed my things and exit before 9am! Like what I told my family, this shall be my first and the last time booking with them. Awful awful awful and would like to keep repeating this as an awful experience. Expensive and totally misrepresented of their description. To those who wants to book this for an experience, please think twice.
