I had stayed with my family of 3 for 8 days through online booking a month before. Had booked the family room. Definitely not expensive. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very convenient for taking bus/train as the MRT and bus stop are at walking distance. Also, there are a lot of good restaurants nearby. Overall it was a good...

This hotel is a good catch in Singapore considering the room price. The city is very costly and getting a budget hotel with decent facilities is extremely difficult. But, this hotel was perfect in that aspect. The rooms are small but elegantly designed. The hotel staff is very helpful. But, here too the check-in time is 2 PM which is...

Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms are bit small which is expected from Singapore. No hotel's restaurant but plenty of places to eat around specially for Indians. 5 minute walking distance to mustafa centre and MRT.

Very compact place and less place to move but very accessible to all necessities and public transport. A great place for Indians since all Indian food nearby and you won't miss anything that you want.

Decently located with very friendly staff. Rooms are little cramped and slightly expensive but service and staff compensate the high price. Will recommend for short stays especially for solo travellers.

Stayed at the Santa Grand Hotel for 4 nights. It was a very nice stay. The rooms are very simple, especially if you are out and about all day, it works well. The staff is very nice and communicative. The location is very good, 30 minutes walking to busy areas of Singapore and food/shopping all around. Would recommend to many...

Clean, neat rooms. Bathroom well stocked and clean. Friendly and helpful staff- Reception and Housekeeping. Value for money if you need a place to stay the night while you go about sightseeing through the day! Centrally located in Little India, equi-distant to Little India and Farrer Park stations on the MRT.

Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.

Conveniently located at the junction of Serangoon and Veerasamy Road, the Santa Grand Hotel Little India is surrounded by places of interest such as Arab Street, Little India Arcade and a Sikh temple, not to mention the well known shopping haven Mustafa Centre and the sights, smells and sounds of Little India. Offers an intimate boutique setting, rich, distinctive floral motif and ethnic design, this hotel was converted from a five-storey 1950s building. It offers all the convenience of a modern hotel with fantastic guest services. Critically located in the heart of Singapore's Indian Cultural enclave, the hotel will provide marketing opportunities for mostly visitors who wish to experience a holiday with an Indian culture or festival, key of which will be Deepavali and Thaipusam. It would also be a big attraction for the more up-market visitors who are in town for business or for sourcing of luxury goods. The IT mecca of Sim Lim is a second major draw for Little India. With this internationally known IT mall on our doorstep, many visitors will select Little India specifically to take advantage of the fantastic selection of IT products and accessories that are on offered. ... more   less
