This hotel, like many in Singapore, is unfortunately open for tour groups to stay in, which means alot of overcrowding. However, if you have lounge access either through the room booking or Accor Platinum and above, you will be able to check in at the lounge. The lounge as well as the staffs there are probably the biggest plus of my stay. Kudos to Sofia, Glenna, Ash and Glenn for your kind attention and with your dedicated attention, our stay at Novotel on Stevens definitely got elevated.
The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis (turn the green housekeeping light on), and both times when I stayed on Level 9, the housekeeping crew will always extend their greetings when we walk past them at the corridor. Whilst I can tell its hard work that they are doing, but their lively attitudes really changes the morning. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask for their names.
The rooms are modern, everything is clean. Water is from a filtered tap in the bathroom. If you are familiar with the Novotel brand, then you should know about the smart pillow that is available in many hotels, unfortunately for the ones at this Novotel, its the smaller version of it.
Food Exchange for breakfast is TERRIBLE. (Yes with a CAPS).
So with the weekend breakfast, it is published everywhere that breakfast is till 11:00am. So wanting to do a quick breakfast run, we went at 10:30am and saw that the entrance to the restaurant has already been barricaded. There were a few people in a similar situation as me. I questioned the staff then that the published timing was 11.00am and they said that last order is 10:45am and they will close at 11.00am; however what she failed to address or realised was that it was only 10:30am and they have closed the entrance. When inside, there was a lack of care in almost everything. There was inadequate supply of cutleries, when I finally gotten one, it was still wet, probably from a wash. Tables were not cleaned promptly so that other people can use them, instead people start to move unclean dishes to one table in order to use them. Options were sad and truly not a reflection of the diverse food culture in Singapore. The juice machine was out of juice and was pumping out clear water. Unless you get free breakfast with your stay, I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND you paying for breakfast there, order something from GrabFood or FoodPanda, in fact something from the 7-11 nearby would probably make you happier.

Our recent business event (training) at the Novotel Singapore on Stevens was a resounding success, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the hotel's staff. From the start of the planning process, it has been a breeze working with Serene from Sales who was a delight to work with, accommodating to our event requirements and even multiple changes requested without complaint.
The subsequent preparation process was also seamless, with the event team Raymand catering to our requirements with great professionalism and responsiveness. Special shoutout to Derrick from the Banquet team who took great care of all our participants during the event, ensuring they had a comfortable meeting experience and were well taken care of every step of the way.
We would also like to thank Chef Antony for preparing a delightful cake on short notice to celebrate a participant's birthday, adding a personal touch that was greatly appreciated, and also Derrick who went the extra step to make this happen.
The function room was modern, well maintained and well equipped, making for a conducive environment for training.

The only reason we stayed here was due to Jetstar cancelling our flight to Australia while transiting. It is a nice enough hotel (shared facilities with Mercure), rooms more spacious than others in the area, good gym, nice pool. I was disappointed we couldn’t he offered a late checkout - while it normally wouldn’t worry me it was our daughters 18th birthday and we just wanted to enjoy as much of the day as possible (and we are gold Accor members) but it wasn’t to be. Location of the hotel is ok, not too far in a gojek from the ION Orchard . I wouldn’t recommend breakfast - way too busy and so many people using their hands to pick up food , they should probably have someone watch over guests to make sure they are using the utensils provided (this is how people get sick). I’d definitely recommend the hotel if the price was decent, I’m probably being tough given the circumstances we were there which clearly wasn’t their fault.

Check in took some time, there were 2 agents and the kept interrupting each other with questions, and English was not their first language. We finally got our room keys and went to our rooms. In the hallway we saw leftovers from roomservice, and it was still sitting on the floor 15 hours later. There are a small chair and round table in the room, the chair is for use at the desk or the round table. It felt not very stable and gave no support to your back. The small table was not level, cups and bottles would slide off. In the toilet only the button for the small flush was working. Carpet in room could need a cleaning or replacement. In the Food Exchange they try to mark for allergens, but fails big time. First morning the had 3 yougurts, and only 2 was marked as containing diary's. So I thought I could eat the blueberry one, but asked to be sure. Hard to talk to the staff in English, but finally I got the answer: no no, sorry, and they took away the sign. Just to put it back the next morning. Other things was not marked as containing gluten. I am just wondering if I had the nerves to eat there, if I was allergic to peanuts. We asked for late check out for our 2 rooms, one was granted for free until 0130pm, and we payed half day price for the other room, until 1800, fair enough. But check out of the first room was a mess, it took some time for the reception to figure out how to do it, when there was 2 rooms on the bill. There are lots of small cafes/restaurants between the 2 hotels, but sadly the close down at 10pm as almost the rest of singapore does.

Unfortunately I find myself negatively reviewing this structure. We booked a quadruple room (2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 8) and on our arrival (late night) we were assigned a double room (a double bed with a sofa next to it). Removing the sofa and moving the double bed at the end we found a solution but still the room was too small to fit in 4 and anyway or children had to sleep together in a single bed. Unfortunately, even the front staff is not suitable for the type of hotel... rude and poorly organized. We left the suitcases at checkout and then picked them up in the evening and placed them next to the door without protection of any kind (anyone could take them and leave). Breakfast is well stocked (both sweet and savoury) but the quantities were scarce for the number of people staying (each time you had to ask the staff to replace fruit, drinks etc...) also the tables were badly set without any placemat and dirty enough. Really a shame because the food quality was excellent! Positive things: location with metro and bus very close, the view from the tenth floor over the city was scary. Also the property is shared with the Mercure Singapore on Stevens (separate entrances but internally it is all connected) maybe they will be kinder to guests!

My husband and I had a pleasant stay at The Novotel on Stevens in Singapore. Our flight arrived very early in the morning and they accommodated an early check-in for a small fee. The staff, especially Deepika, were very friendly. The hotel grounds had a very relaxing area with sofas and swing chairs lending to a lovely evening ambience. There were many types of restaurants around the hotel grounds for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Even a Seven Eleven if you cared for a midnight chip snack! The location was in a quiet residential area and the hotel offered numerous daily shuttle bus services to/from Orchard Road. I would recommend the Novotel on Stevens to anyone.

As Platinum members, we were delighted to receive an upgrade to a suite, enhancing our family's experience right from the start with a warm welcome at the Executive Level Lounge when we checked in. The staff truly excel in their roles; Manager Thava is exceptionally intuitive, ensuring that every aspect of customer service is outstanding. As a platinum member of Accor group, I have spent hundreds of nights on various Accor hotels. My stay in this Novotel on Stevens was one of the worst experience I ever had, which I try to summarized my experience by points as follow:
1. Midnight housekeeping: On 17 Dec 2022 1:00am, I noticed the room door of the next room keep bumping. When I take a look from the corridor, I was surprised that your staff is carry out a housekeeping at room 1024 at 1:00am!!! I have turned on my DND red light which the hotel staff shall aware my room is occupied. However, he/she simply ignore it by going in and out the room, hitting the door hard and disturbing my rest. I can't imagine how this could happen and I called frontdesk to complaint. There's no explanation or apologize in the morning.
2. Enter the room even with Do Not Disturb turned on: I have turn on DND when I first check in the room, then I leave the room for dinner. When I return to the room, I noticed that the hotel sent me a fruit basket which means you're entering the room even with my DND light on. If the hotel would like to prepare the room for Platinum member, I believe other Accor hotels usually prepare the room before the guest arrive, rather than doing this afterwards.

3. Sticky hairdryer: I don't understand how can the hotel offer such a sticky hairdryer to your guest, I can barely hold it and I have to wash my hand immediately after touching it. It's disguising to hold such a sticky hairdryer.

4. Worst chair for work: The chair in room is not prepared for people to sit on, it's not solid and can't provide any support to your back, can't adjust its sitting position. It's one of the worst chair I've ever sit on.
5. Cold fried egg breakfast: The breakfast quality is already so-so, however, its fried egg is even worst that the chef deliberately cool it before offering to guests. It's cold and tasteless.
6. Invoice error: When I check out with the hotel, the invoice was wrong that it missed one night of stay. Lucky that I spotted the problem and alert the staff. However, it took me another 10 mins wait for the entire process.
7. No club lounge access: It's not open for business but there's no alert when I try to book the hotel. 8. No reply from hotel: Even I've written emails to complain about my experience, there is no feedback so far.
Overall it's a very disappointed stay which I shall share with all those readers how disappointing it is.

Good Location, clean rooms and excellent lounge staff. Check in was extremely busy and rushed. We went to the room and door wouldn’t open so returned to reception who said to go up and wait and the would send security to change the battery on door. We waited for 15 mins when finally a team member going to another room came by and he checked on us. Glenn invited us to go wait in the members lounge and offered us food and drink while we waited. I queried about lounge access as was told my breakfast wasn’t included at reception even after showing my platinum card. Glenn updated the booking and also changed our room. The best service and care came from the lounge team Glenn and Sofia. Every night they were friendly and professional in the lounge. Housekeeping was very high standard every day Breakfast was a large choice in the restaurant. Would return to this hotel thanks to the service provided by lounge team and housekeeping
