Really wonderful property with easy commute. MTR easily accessible in shopping mall with lots of food options. Hotel is also located in the center of the island that makes taxi very convenient also. The rooftop pool is amazing with 360 ocean view of the island and Sands Hotel. My room is small but efficient.
When North American people see the name Courtyard, it has the budget and cheap and sometimes "crappy" annotation to it, but outside of north america, the courtyard brand is actually quite decent, and in fact, the one in singapore is one of the best courtyard out there. WHo doesnt like a rooftop infinite pool ? Albeit, it was under renovation when i visited, but even without it, the service was great, food was great, location is decent and the price is quite good at times also, so make sure to keep checking for the prices, as prices fluctuate day to day. All the rooms are high floor, rooms are minimalistic and very new. The hallway and rooms almost remind me of the "EDITION" hotel franchise, which is famous for using white oak wood as decor, and that speaks something about this courtyard, being compared with the EDITION, which is one of the top tier brand under the Marriott group. I love this hotel, i will revisit this hotel again when the rooftop pool is reopened…
Had 2 days 1 night stay in premier corner room with skyline view. View was very nice, surprised that I got the view of cbd and even abit of mbs. Think staff were new but generally they are polite. Breakfast and dinner buffet at sky 22 restaurant were awesome! Restaurant crew staff were very courteous and their service was great! Swimming pool is beautiful, think went for some refurishment. In general, had a very nice stay. Kudos to the team!
Positive: The check in and out process was pleasant. The room was clean. It was conveniently located near the subway and shopping centres. Areas for improvement: The in-room dining menu was limited. For guests who drive, there was a strange arrangement for guests to have to drive out of the car park every 24-hours to utilise the special rate. It is quite bizarre. The hotel should look into making this less troublesome.
Stayed there earlier this week. Although my meetings ewere by Changi airport, this location was fine. Was very impressed with the room, good food, and courteous staff. The rooftop bar and restaurant was very nice as well. Will definitely be back.
This hotel, one of the cheapest Marriott-branded hotels in Singapore, still exceeds by far the average level of hospitality and comfort in U.S. properties. Rooms were very comfortable and clean, if a bit small (I'd say the rooms are a bit larger than typical NYC rooms). Elite breakfast was hearty, with a mix of buffet selections and made-to-order items. They also have an evening Elite happy hour; although we were only able to take advantage once, it was an excellent prelude to dinner that day. Do not be dissuaded by the location of this property on Google Maps. While it might appear far away from the CBD / popular attractions, the hotel is a 2-minute walk away from the Novena MRT stop. The location also affords a remarkable rooftop view of the city as a whole. To sum up, excellent hotel, staff, and amenities at a reasonable price point.…
My wife and I stayed in this hotel for close to a month in September this year. The location was great. This hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to a subway stop in the basement of the adjacent mall. The rooms are not very big but efficiently designed. We experienced excellent service from the staff. In particular, we would like to give a special shout-out to Fiona, Tsu-yi, and Lawrence of the Sky22 restaurant and Raj at the Bell desk, they provided customer service that was above and beyond expectations! Overall, it was a very enjoyable. Highly recommended!!
The property is really nice. It was a work trip, but I will stay here again with the family. In the US, this would be a Westin hotel. It does have slight wear, but nothing not to stay here. Also I stay at a lot of hotels throughout the year. Therefore I would notice. For most this is the best hotel they have stayed at. The pool is really nice and the breakfast as well. Which I believe was around $20 USD. The rooms are typical in size for Singapore. Best Courtyard I have ever stayed at. Since in the US, Courtyards can be hit or miss.
Spacious, well appointed rooms with views, great location next to a shopping mall and subway station, very convenient if you need to walk to Mt Elizabeth hospital. The breakfast was an excellent spread with lots of choices. Loved the nespresso maker in the room too.
My very first time in Singapore and the hotel made it beyond my expectations. All the staffs are so nice, so friendly. Both my room and my friends have the fascinating view. The check-in counter on 22nd floor is the signature one. Cannot waiting to comeback here.
