Unless the size of bathroom and toilet, everything is nice in Rucksack Inn @ Temple Street. Wifi is strong, location is great, breakfast anytime you want and Rosana very helpful. If you don't know where to go, you just ask and she will help you.

Despite a bit tiny room, this hotel provide lots of thing serving budget travelers; clean room (also bathroom), averaged-quality bed sheet, free drinking water which very expensive in Singapore. Importantly, its location is very good; very very near the SMRT and right in the China Town!!!

I am telling every backpacker around that this place is very cozy and welcoming. It has a living room setup near the reception and the dining is on the opposite side. You can eat cornflakes and drink milk all you want for only 50 SGD per night. The sharing room is big and cold, They have like 6-12 people sharing in...

The title says it all. The 6 bed dorm was tiny though. Staff helped us find our way around the city. Free water and toast 24.7 which saved us some money as Singapore is very expensive. 2 min walk from Chinatown MRT.

This was our first time in Singapore and also our first time to stay in a hostel. We stayed there for 4 nights and we did not regret our decision to try a hostel. Our stay was awesome. You feel comfy and welcome since the first time you stepped in. It has a password-protected lock on the main door and...

This was the best hostel I had ever stayed. My five days here were awesome and I felt very comfortable like at my own house. You can easily access to Chinatown MRT station which is just few steps away and there are lots of shopping centers and hawker centers nearby. It's really clean and the staff are very friendly and...

This was the first time I ever traveled on my own and I could not have any better experience. You feel comfy and welcome since the first time you stepped in. Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
