This was our second time staying at this hotel first being 4 years ago, to be honest the first stay was great the rooms were clean and well maintained. This time around the rooms appeared neglected, very noisy during the late ours of the night, some sort of building noise.. The buffet breakfast was very disappointing no variety and a very plain selection of foods offered. The hotel itself looks very outdated and not maintained compared to the hotels surrounding it.

These units have nice galley kitchens so some meals can be had there . . . IF grocery stores are open. Alas, I arrived when the grocery stores & most restaurants were closed for days & the hotel staff was oblivious even directing me to a grocery that turned out to be closed . The beds & bathrooms are great But living off a few hawker stalls for food that had trays of dirty trays piling up because most workers were gone, rather spoiled my mood . The galley kitchen was really nice tho, & wish I had a better opportunity to use it .

Wonderful experience with Ascott Raffles Place, from the spacious room to the immaculate service - shoutout to Melissa who was answering my queries patiently and even offered a room upgrade upon hearing that I was booking the room for a birthday celebration. Facilities were new and room was beautiful. Had an awesome stay and will definitely visit again.

One night's stay at the Ascott went by too quickly. It was a double celebration - mum's birthday and New Year's. Thanks to the Front office team for helping with the decoration service. We were thrilled with the choice of chocolates, cake and the Ascott bear. We requested a room overlooking the Bay, and we were happy to have been allocated one on a high floor. We could see a partial view of the fireworks from the comfort of the room. The Cutler suite was large and comfortable, and very clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances for a comfortable stay. Location wise, was good. Just a short walk to Lau Pa Sat and other food outlets. Early birds can get up in the morning and view sunrise at Marina Bay. Suggestions for improvement - like the previous reviews mentioned, the TVs need upgrading to a larger one with Smart TV functions as most 5* facilities offer this already. Also as there was high occupancy that period, the teabags in the living room finished fast and were not replenished. We would definitely stay here again given the opportunity.

A reasonably priced (for Singapore) hotel. I ended up with a one bed apartment with full kitchen and plenty of wardrobe space. Clean and comfortable I think a great place without the usual trade off price v quality. I did not eat there so no idea about the breakfast that was included.

I wanted to give a 5-star rating, but as I sit here waiting for housekeeping to come (more than 4 hours' wait now + 1 in-person request + 3 calls + 2 texts, and I made the extremely unfortunate decision to put my towels in the tub before I left for lunch at 1130am. Never again) I think it's only fair. It's a pity because this time we were given the bigger studio suite and I was all but ready to give a full mark rating. My first 3 days went smoothly with prompt housekeeping, but unfortunately housekeeping decided to not be prompt on the very day when I need them to be prompt as I am working today. I apologise in advance to all my neighbours for needing to do my laundry late now. Other than that, it was nice to be offered an ice pack (sprained my ankle) and extra pillows, but I can't look past not having towels for what's coming to 5 hours. The poor service rating is for the housekeeping by the way, not the front desk.

We arrived in the early evening after a day of travel. To our surprise and delight we were upgraded to a larger suite due to our membership of the hotel’s rewards program. The suite came with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry, bathroom with bath and shower, sitting room with sofa, small dining tables & 2 chairs, and a large king bed. Perfect for our long weekend. The pool on level 19 overlooks Raffles Place Park and perfect for a cooling dip between sightseeing during the heat of the day. There are three lifts which means there’s rarely a wait. Wifi worked seamlessly, as did the air-conditioning. There’s a nearby small Marks & Spencer Food outlet, which also stocks a good range of wine, and a 7-11 for snacks, toiletries and beer. It’s in the business district, so quiet on the weekends which suited us. Marina Bay Sands is walking distance, as is the Gardens by the Bay. The MRT Raffles Place station is across the road.

Ascott Raffles hotel is right in downtown singapore close to Marina Bay and cross a street from a upscale food court. The beds were very comfy and the pillows were firm just like the way i like them. There is a see thru pool and 24 snack and tea or coffee offered on the roof.

Stayed for 4 nights for business. Booked this place because it was very close to the offices I was attending to but found it to be nothing special. PROS: - Large room with a full kitchen including washer and dryer. - Bathroom was nice with separate tub and shower. - Location is great - easy walk everywhere CONS: - They have a weird system in which you need to turn on the water heater in your room 10 minutes before having a shower. I have never seen something like this in a luxury hotel. - The property itself is showing some wear, especially in the common spaces like hallways and gym. - Restaurant was subpar, food was not very good. Breakfast was also average at its best. - Service was also very average.

We arrived with our heavy luggage only to discover that the elevator outside the building was not working, and the only way in was about 20 steps up. Our apartment was average. It was supplied with some pots, pans, and dishware, so you could cook if you wanted to. There is a washer/dryer combo in the room, but ours made a horrible high-pitched noise every time it ran. You had to made sure you turned on your water heater 10 minutes before you wanted to shower/bathe or you were taking a cold one. The robes they supplied were so rough that you didn't want to wear it. It was nice, however, that they supplied us with a few bottles of water and some fruit in the room when we arrived. There is an outdoor pool but no pool desk to speak of. If you want to sunbathe you have to go to a separate area on the same floor (no view of the pool). The location is great, and we were able to walk to every sighting location we wanted. Overall, it and the staff were nice, but nothing special.

Thank you for choosing our strategically located serviced residence for your recent holiday in our city-state and for taking the time to share your 3 nights stay experience with us on Tripadvisor. We are heartened to learn you and your husband had a pleasant stay with us, and you found our residence’s location with proximity to many eateries, local attractions and various public transport options convenient. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and discomfort caused to you and your husband when you had to tote your heavy luggage up the stairs at the entrance of our serviced residence because the external hydraulic elevator was unserviceable. Following your feedback, we would like to assure you our Engineering team will investigate and check the sensor and hydraulic system of the elevator and carry out the needed corrective works. We would also like to apologise for the absence of our Bell Service team member when you arrived at our serviced residence as he was assisting another guest. Following your feedback, we will review our current processes for improvements.
