It was my first time visiting Boracay. Isla Gecko exceeded my expectations. All the staffs were very accommodating, the front desk on-duty knows how to entertain guests. When we asked questions to her she immediately answered and she suggested other options. The location is very near to the shore and the souvenir area. We'll definitely come back!:)

Since our kids love PJ mask's Gecko, staying here is a plus! Gecko pics is everywhere. 1. Location is quiet far but manageable, we only had hard time when kids don't want to walk. 2. Room is clean and just enough for our need 3. Staff are cheerful and always helpful 4. Free water

Stayed at Isla Geko for 3 days 2 night. We just checked out today (March 23). Upon arriving at the hotel the front desk staff Ely was amazing. She was very friendly, very accommodating, very pleasant. Although there is an on going contsruction beside the property. We booked the 1 room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed since we're 3 pax. She apologize to us about the ongoing construction before we could even start to complian. Offered to upgrade us to Executive Room once it's ready. We decided not to transfer since we're already settled in the room. And since we won't be staying in the room the wholeday, so the noise wasn't really a big deal. Rate was with in our budget. We're only bagpackers, we're not looking for a luxurious accommodation since will be out the whole doing activities. Booking source was booking.com

Do not stay here! We arrived and before we even arrived i was abit on edge due to it being a 2*. It is down a muddy ally so be prepared for the back of your legs to get dirty. the staff were lovely but that is the only positive. We was shown to our room and the first thing you smell is the damp and mould. I complained as I cannot stand the smell and all they did was go to the room and spray it with febreez and put a air freshener in the toilet and the excuse was “nobody had stayed in this room for 3 days that is why it smells”. After a while I decided I couldn’t take it anymore so i went to reception and asked to move rooms and they said yes and said they’re moving us to the “VIP room” it most definitely was not. No smell of damp this time but on the bed there was ants!!! I felt so dirty in the room I couldn’t believe it, the bathroom also had ants everywhere and it was so small, too small to even turn around in. Overall, i would never stay here again, very overpriced.

We stayed for 1 night. Walking to the hotel from the main road was dodgy. It is not safe for anyone walking alone at night. I've booked the family room. It was big and that was the only plus point. The room smell musty and there were ants crawling all over the beds. Another night I left my daughter as she is flying back to Kuala Lumpur from Kalibo whilst we flew back to Manila. My daughter told me the single she stayed probably got bed bug or ants as she got rashes all over het body the following morning. I will not recommend for family to stay here.

Booked mine via Agoda. This boutique hotel is pretty basic with its accommodation. Room has a twin size bed which is good enough for me. CR and bathroom is clean and tidy. Hotel's located somewhere between the main road and the beach which is fine by me when I take a ride for my meeting. And just a few minutes walk on the other side is the beautiful white sand beach of Boracay which becomes more beautiful as the sun sets. Located near is also their famous D' Mall where they have a variety of restos and souvenir shops. Staff was very accommodating and acceded to my request and gave the room on the ground floor. Had an injury on my leg which makes climbing stairs excruciating. Wifi- though it's free, is really slow.. so, you might as well enjoy the beach and yes the mesmerizing sunset as well.
