The interior design is so old and outdated. Wifi is not reliable inside the room. When we first arrived, the sofa set we had were broken my husband fell when he sat down because of the hole that’s not fixed. After reporting it they finally decided to change the 2 sofa chair. They had to relocate their wifi router near our room so that we can have a better wifi connection which i found very ridiculous. The lady at the front desk although was kind of unhelpful at first but she figured out what to do. Just told her not to treat their guests as important as others when she suggested to us to just check out after she couldn’t help us with wifi on our first night. We live in Texas so obviously internet is a necessity for us as we have a teenager son we left behind and we need to get in touch with him every day. I would have check out after all the trouble we experienced if not only for one thing, this place has a million dollar ocean view and just steps away from the shore. They can make this place a real paradise if they will upgrade the apartment and their customer service.

What a wonderful experience. The staff was absolutely AMAZING!!!! The property is a bit dated but well maintained. We rented a 2 bedroom apartment and found it to be a cozy and accommodating place. The staff took great care to make sure that the amenities were all that we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms are large, comfortable and have amazing views. The bathrooms were modern but a bit tight. We can't wait to go back!

The apartment is located directly on the beach on the first floor. A large apartment, equipped with a kitchen but very noisy, there was a strong stench of sewage, a problem that followed on my request has been partially solved. Since midnight you can enjoy and share the noise coming from the closest disco or bar look like they are in your room. The beach is crowded of people, low level of tourism. The diving are very low quality for see fish and corals. Avoid the tour. Only nice thing is Puka beach. But I don’t suggest coming in Boracay to see it.

This place gave us our best staycation experience in boracay. My husband, I, and my 20month old baby stayed with them for 4 wonderful days in the (1Bedroom Absolute Beachfront Apt.) Kankanay Room 2nd Floor with balcony. Agoda botched our booking reservation, but Ms. Jen assured us that she will hold our reservation regardless. We paid after our 2nd day of stay. Room was huge! It was indeed a suite. Upon entering, we were welcomed to the dining area and a clean kitchenette complete with a fullsized fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cooking and eating utensils, plates, cups, glasses, coffee & sugar and tea! They even have dish washing detergent and sponge available in the sink compartment! And oh, the kitchen had its own A/C apart from the aircon in the bedroom. Moving on, you also have a living room and a Spa-like bathroom. Shower area is also huge with a rainfall shower head and pebbles around the flooring. They had hot water which was great especially for bathing our baby. Toilet also had bidet. Next to the toilet were built-in storage, shelves, and a vault to keep safe your belongings. Towels and robes were clean as well. On to the bedroom, again HUGE! next to the bed is a sofabed good for 1person, but if you'd ever want to bring an airbed for extra people, that too will do. The room had a cool airconditioner, a ceiling fan,a desk, a big enough flat screen tv with cable, tv stand had extra shelving units. Outside the bedroom was the very spacious balcony where you get an amazing view of the beach and the people walking around. They served us with complementary wine our first night and fresh fruits daily. They also served us breakfasts brought to our rooms consisting of toasted bread with butter and jam, eggs (scrambled or sunny side up is up to you), fresh fruits, a pot of coffee or tea, plus a glass of juice each for me and my husband. The location is great, in between stations 1&2, a few steps to starbucks, many restaurants, & only a few minutes walk to D'Mall. It really is absolute beachfront!Beach chairs and tables aren't allowed on the beach area anymore but sandcastles had 2 Banigs (handwoven mats) in the rooms ready for beach use, very very useful everytime we went to stay at the beach. The staff is wonderful! Ms. Quina and Ms. Jen made our stay very comfortable. All their staff were super friendly and attentive. Made me sad when I forgot to take a photo with them upon checking out. Cons: -No landline phone in the room, good thing there were staff around 24/7 incase we needed something. -No restaurant and other facilities of a typical hotel, though their reception area had couches and tables comfy enough for guests who want to lounge around or bring food in or work with their laptops. -Wifi was unfortunately weak in the room which wasnt too much of a dealbreaker because we had mobile data and we made sure to spend quality family time and away from the internet. -A/C power in the bedroom shut off 2 nights out of our 4days stay due to the strong rainfall and had to be fixed only the next morning which means you only have the ceiling fan to cool you off, good thing though the aircon in the kitchen was strong enough to cool the whole room at night. Staff also never fell short of their great service. They always compensated us for such events. -This isn't the hotel's fault but I will cite it anyway so people are aware. Few mosquitoes made it in the bedroom most likely when the balcony door sometimes was left open so make sure to close door always & bring bugshield lotions, boracay is a tropical island so yes, expect mosquitoes all through out and not just in Sandcastles. Our overall verdict? We'd love to stay here again for sure! This is perfect for people/families looking for a quiet hotel, not a lot of guests, and suites with kitchenette for if you'd want to cook your own meal. Again, our favorite stay in bora so far!

We stayed there in early February, it is located right on the beach. It is a small location and only has a small number of rooms, but we were lucky to have the room facing the beach. The balcony wrapped around the second floor and had a full view of the beach. We stayed in a two bedroom unit, TV in only one bedroom and the living room. Two bathrooms and a small kitchenette with all of the amenities, dining room tables. There are no elevators, just stairs, but not an issue.

Incredibly convenient location. We upgraded to a shared suite with 2 beds, 2 bathrooms and wrap around balcony. Great people watching spot, and situated in between different stations but close to D'mall, all the eateries and tour pick ups. Starbucks/7-11 and along with local eats all within steps. Only caveat is that the tricycle will drop you off on the main road so you need to go down a bit do the beach where the apartments via a pathway which is very close to the main entrance. They include free beach access to lounge chairs during the day and becomes a great little cafe at night. Steps from the beach - I would go again and even try the 2 floor suite which may have even better views! Very nice staff as well!

Very disappointing, when we arrive just 3 days ago, i didn't even see the entrance of the hotel, it does not look like a hotel entrance, inside the lobby is so small and dirty, it doesn't look what it shown in the internet. We booked the (Ibaloi room) with two bedroom and a kitchen, the window inside of the bedroom is facing their stock room, it has a sliding door , they can even access inside your room, there is no privacy, kitchen utensils smells like cockroach, receptionist is very sarcastic the way she talk with us. We decided to transfer to another hotel on the same day as we just arrived.

Big rooms with a kitchen, cooked my usual Home food so was great, close to the action and on the beach! Choy is amazing he will do anything for you, he carried our bags from the main road and back, organised tours nothing was a problem, there's a few down sides to this place but the ups make it up, free water tanks around the building, so many towels so many pillows so many beach towels beach view balconies, friendly staff, 24 he security, kitchen fully equipped even with cloths and Kitchen towels, good A/C, shower isn't the best, very close to D mall, next time I'm in Boracay I will stay here without a doubt

We stayed at Boracay SandCastles The Apartments during our trip on May 2017. Perfect location, because it’s in Station 2, right in front of the White Beach where the action happens. We checked in late afternoon without any issues. The hotel picked up our calls prior to checking in, and we were well-assisted during our stay. We stayed at the Kankanay room on the second floor. It's a beachfront room. First thing that caught my attention was the elegance of the space. I was quite surprised when we were showed into our room, because outside it seems basic. But wow, inside is a beautifully designed apartment. It was super spacious for two, there’s a lot of room to move around. It’s divided into five areas: the kitchen and dining area right after the entrance, sofa, toilet and bath, bedroom close to the sliding door that lead to the balcony. We didn’t have any time to cook, but I noticed the kitchen was well-furnished. The bathroom was one of my favorite spots. I like the design, the modern fixtures, the glass wall dividing the bathroom and the bedroom, the scent of the toiletries, the stones on the bathroom floor. I knew quickly that they put a lot of thinking in setting up the whole thing. And then the California king bed with fine linen. I like the choice of colors, too, from the curtain to the wall, and the pillows on the sofa. The furniture has a touch of local. The view was also good. I didn’t have issues with noise because we were out until past 1AM, but early morning, yeah I heard some sounds from the garbage collectors. I thought it was some sound proofing problem, but it happened that we did not close too well the glass door to the balcony. LOL. So, overall, the experience at SandCastles was beyond expectation. I’m glad we chose to book here.
