Location: At station 3 and a bit far from the beach. You'd have to walk a bit and may not be ideal if you're alone or if you're more into Station 2's night life or something. A lot of locals come by the place to eat and drink (til morning even) because they have an actual cafeteria (carenderia). Expect a bit of noise. Room: The place is kind of old and dilapidated. We were kind of a big group so we had to stay in one of their bigger rooms. They had lockers in the room but as lockers, they were useless. There were no towels provided. Sheets weren't exactly the cleanest either. But to be honest, all the negatives were to be expected for the price we each paid for 2 nights at this place. Staff/Service: They were patient enough to always accompany us to our room every time one or a few of us somehow ended up coming back to the room without a key. Overall: The place is cheap and they have a cafeteria that actually served cheap food we could eat. We managed to save a lot and this is the only reason I'm giving this an average score.…
Avoid this place like the plague or you may actually end up catching it here! It's a slum, truly and in all senses. We had to leave early as just couldn't bear to stay another night in this hell hole and only managed to get a refund for the nights remaining after reporting them to the police. Their pictures on booking.com are total lies and it's now my mission to have them removed from anywhere that they can use to trap unsuspecting tourists. You have been warned!
This place is awful. There were cockroaches everywhere. It's very noisy from early in the morning. The rooms are cramped and ours had no window. The air con smelled gross. Stay anywhere but here! Someone has written in an earlier review that it's only good for backpackers - definitely not true, this place isn't good for anyone.
This hostel (I use the term loosely) was possibly the worst hostel I have ever stayed in. The room was okay however the staff were most uncooperative. We asked for the wifi password several times and were refused. When I waited at reception to be served to pay the bill, there were about a dozen people sitting around doing nothing and after about 5 minutes, one of them finally got up and reluctantly spoke to me. He was of no help at all and still did not surrender the wifi password. Rooms okay but if you want wifi then don't even think about it. Wendy was nowhere to be seen. My roommate heard them chopping pork at 2am.
This hostel is located nearby station 3. It's a little hard to find it, considering you need to go trough dirty drain water. The place is next to a local nasty bar and a mechanic workshop. In two nights of staying we had to hear noises from electrical saws, party and people yelling and laughing the whole night. A disaster! In addition the rooms doesn't have ventilation nor Windows. Rooms are really small. If you look for something cheap add two or 1 dollar more to you budget an have better accommodation. Find another place!
The room was actually okay; it was very affordable. It was just really the location and the environment that made our stay a bit not too good especially during the night time where a lot of people are drinking outside. It made us uncomfortable.
This place is good for budget travelers like me. The room space is good and affordable. There is also an eatery in the front of the apartelle and it's a little bit noisy outside because of the people who drinks and sing in the eatery, but you will never hear the loud sound once you entered your room. There is also a cable tv inside our room. The only negative thing that i saw is the broken door and the very little space in our private comfort room.
