The front desk staff offered us a choice of location and we were shown to our room. The room was spacious, beautiful and even had a balcony with a peek-a-boo beach view. There are drinking water stations throughout the resort and a glass pitcher to fill for your room fridge.
It was Chinese New Year and the hotel had a special buffet dinner at their Breeze restaurant which was included. The food choices were plentiful and delicious. I thought the night couldn’t get any better as they had a halo halo station but then we saw the dancing chef show just outside the front door as we were leaving. What a wonderful night. I’m not sure if this happens every night.
The hotel offers breakfast at both a beach front buffet restaurant or a made to order breakfast restaurant. We chose the buffet and were very impressed with the selections, the quality of food and staff. They even have an air conditioned room to enjoy your meal in.
I was sad we only stayed here the one night and didn’t want to leave. We had the hotel arrange our transport back to the Caticlan airport for convenience. It was truly door to door service. Air conditioned van to the pier, their own boat, and then an air conditioned van to the airport door. Amazing service all around and would highly recommend it to everybody.
If you're looking to celebrate a special occasion, I highly recommend that you do it in Hennan. We celebrated my dad's surprise birthday there and we have zero regrets. Hennan offers a birthday package that is inclusive of a dinner set-up with a special set menu, birthday cake, bottle of wine, and a personalized wait staff. Due to space constraints, the celebration was held at Henann Palm Beach Resort Premium Sky Pool Area which we had no problem with since the place was beyond amazing. The dinner set-up was so well-organized and lovely and the food was sooo delicious. None of this would've been possible without the help of MS. MICHELLE. We are more than grateful for her as she assisted us every step of the way..making both our stay and the celebration memorable. She even went out of her way to print out a tarpaulin for the birthday..Hennan and Ms Michelle truly went above and beyond to make the birthday surprise a success. Will definitely check in at Hennan again when we go to back to Boracay.
It was our first time to stay in Henann Regency and we had a fantastic experience.
Resort staff was very polite and helpful always making sure that we are comfortable and enjoying our stay. Ms. Michelle Molano, a hotel manager, was so accommodating with our requests and very much willing to help us with our concerns. Essential kits were also provided inside the room for our safety that it made us feel more comfortable and safe. Housekeeping and Wait Staff at Seabreeze Cafe were also very helpful and courteous. I must say that your crew are your greatest asset! We will definitely be back.
My only complaint was the security deposit for 2000php/day for 3 nights stay which i did not read about here on Agoda. I was totally surprised almost backing out upon check in. I was told by the front desk that it was the hotels policy. Told her i did not see it anywhere, but since i dont want to spoil my vacation i paid anyway, made sure i'll get it back asking what are the room charges.
Second, this agoda listing says they offer free complimentary airport transfers from Caticlan Airport, but after i booked, and few days before my Departure from Manila i was told it was not free. I guess updating the ad wouldnt hurt, not to mention the hotel responds to queries takes forever.
Third, i rated 1 star for cleanliness for the reason that i work in a hospital, undertandle that all guests tested negative for rt-pcr swab test but at least take care of your employees. I also understand that having the room cleaned and repleneshing toiletries is made upon request. I wouldnt have asked for change of linens if i hadnt extended for a day but i had to and i was surprised how the housekeeper came knocking on my room with barehands no PPE(personal protective equipment) except for mask, at least provide them with gloves. I was hesistant at first to hand it to her, asking her for a laundry bag for her own safety but she just said she doesnt have any at the time being and it was ok. I told her at leadt have laundry bags available inside the room for soiled linens. After all we are still living in a pandemic.
I undersrand i got the room for a fraction of the price but at least advertise accurately, i even had the chance to make friends wirh the other guest during my 5 day stay only to find out that they were only asked 1000php/day security deposit, for the same room type and others did not. Initially i already felt discriminated but learning that this is not concsistent means its not even hotel's policy. So correct me if im wrong or at least uodate your Agoda Ad. This is a deceptive way to conduct business. Lastly, protect your employees, i understand that all guests have to submit a negative rt-pcr but please provide them at least wirh gloves or better yet laundry bags inside the room so we can hand it over to them without hesitation.
Again, overall the stay was pleasant. The staff were all friendly. But the only thing that ticked me off negatively was the inconsistent security deposit, not even mentioned on your Agoda's listing, and you risking your employees safety.
PS: i am even fully vaccinated for covid19 but i had to call this out. Even reminded the housekeeper to raise it to your management. It is just so wrong considering healthcare workers have been fighting against this pandemic away from our families yet you cant provide them wirh a simple and chwap gloves or laundry bags readily availabel inside the room.
Looking forward to be back to enjoy and unwind in the pristine sands of Boracay and World Class accommodation and service provided by Henann Regency.

This is the 3rd Henann we tried in Boracay, considering that I brought my whole family, we chose Regency this time as it is Beach Front and the location is right at the heart of Station 2. Henann Garden and Henann Lagoon were great, but, this one, made our 1 week stay horrible. We book 4 rooms for 6 nights for our family.
When we booked:
1. We requested lower floors because we have 2 Seniors and 2 PWDs. This was not noted.
2. Our rooms were heavily separated apart.
3. 2 out of 4 rooms had king-size beds even when we requested to have 1 queen and 1 single.
4. We paid for extra people but all the extra beds were not ready and set up in the room. You have to call so they will bring them up and that is the time they will set it up.
5. In 2 of our rooms, the air conditioning units were not working.
6. The room of our Senior Parents had a clogged bathroom, it took 2 days for them to act on it and then finally transfer my parents.
7. We were transferred twice because of issues in the rooms, one room that was assigned to us was in front of the smoking area - we had children.
During all of these 7 issues, I did not complain anymore as they tried to compensate and transferred one booking to a Suite room.
On our 2nd day, we transferred to a Suite room as this is the 3rd time we are transferring rooms. Imagine we spent our first 2 days in Boracay transferring rooms. Their suite room was large, but wait, the AC was not working! It turns off by itself and they needed to clean the AC thrice! After cleaning it for 3x, the AC was still not working efficiently, because I was exhausted to transfer AGAIN, we were given an Iwata Fan.
On our first day of breakfast, the people at their restaurant insisted our breakfast buffet is only good for 8 when we paid for 11. They had my Senior Parents wait outside standing until I just blew up and asked for the manager.
This is the first time we traveled again as a family after 2 years. Unfortunately, they did not fail to turn it into a nightmare.
also would like to give my recommendation and big thanks to Ms.Daisy at the front desk who helped us arranged our transfers we felt like Vips, she even suggested activities for us and gave infos about the hotel... will come soon and bring the whole family thank you again.
The strategic location provides us access to essential food chain, stores, supermarket and wet market, they are all walking distance from the hotel.
It has complete amenities that will give satisfaction to your needs. During high tide and strong wind, the swimming is an enjoyable part to to swim. Steam towel make you feel so good. You can avail a new one everytine you need. Food, wow excellent service and staff are ver accomodating. Clients’ satisfaction is their top priority.
Our stay in Hennan Regency left remarkable experiences that we will miss everywhere we go. Overall, its a mirandum place, instill marvelous experiences in our memory.
