Salamat Gid to all staff working in Belmont Hotel Boracay. It made our stay even more pleasurable. Newcoast Location is ideal for peace and serenity yet you can still enjoy all the Beauty Boracay has to offer, from clear water to a Spectacular Sunrise, all in your own private Beach. For those looking to enjoy the restaurants, shopping and nightlife on the white sands , the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to the heart of these locations. Booking is required because space sometimes can be limited, as some guests found out on the last shuttle bus returning to the hotel on Tuesday 06/08/24.
The staff has been very accommodating to all our needs. Even the smallest of requests; Eg.Seeing we were a couple, they offered to join our beds together, Or, they are helpful with knowledge to local shops still open at 1am. for emergency sanitary pads. We took full advantage on most Amenities Belmont had to offer, pity we only had 3 nights worth. Pool was small but nevertheless lovely. Additionally, we can also utilise the larger pool at Savoy’s Hotel. Best time to use the Gym was in the morning and we even booked 2 Spa sessions. The doorman was helpful too, he would call us when the shuttle service is ready or hail a hop on hop off bus for us. Buffet Breakfast had a multitude of delicious selection, which changed every morning. The chef cooked your eggs to your liking and delivered to your table if not too busy. The concierge helped with our booking of activities for the day, from island hopping or sunset walks, or other non motorised activities like kayaking or paddle boarding. We opted for the Sunset Rising walk.
Thank You Belmont Hotel. We will return again.

Our 2nd day stay accommodation in Boracay Newcoast. The receptionists, Queen and Czarina are very accommodating and approachable and released us an available room for early check-in since we checked out 12noon from our previous nearby hotel. We got a pool-side room with 2 separate beds, we're a couple so we prefer a 1 double/queen-sized bed, but it's okay, maybe it's the available room for early check-in. Some room amenities had to be requested and not readily available in the room like dental kit and slippers. It's February and Lumot season has kicked in the Boracay White beach, but not in the Newcoast beach, the sand is not as fine as the sand in the main beach but it's not a big deal for us. Our accomodation comes with a buffet breakfast with a decent variety of choices. We utilized the free shuttle service from/to the hotel and d-mall when we went to the main beach for our water activity.
Suggestions: Room - since it was a pool side room, they can put a tint on their windows for the privacy of occupants without closing the windows. Some room amenities would have to be requested, it would be better if it's readily available in the room. Shuttle service - it would be better if the shuttle schedule have atleast 60 - 90 minutes interval Room location - the building where our room was located is called shore building, since it's the nearest to the beach, however, there is no exit going to the beach and we still have to walk back to the main building through the main lobby to exit going to the beach. Pool - the pool area is kind of small for the size of the hotel. Other Staff - some staff lacks hospitality or warmness when being communicated with, this is more on what I felt, but maybe it's just me.
OVERALL: We had a great stay in Belmont Hotel and it's worthy to stay again when we go back in Boracay next time

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
What we liked in this hotel was they have their own private beach with free water activities such as paddle boarding for 15mins. There was a food stall along the beach too where you can see the "keyhole" it is one of the touristy place in boracay. The hotel is located in Newcoast beach, it is a bit far from the main city the good thing was they provide a free shuttle service with a friendly and accommodating drivers. The view from our room was still underconstruction building and many mosquitoes. The room was okay eco-friendly type of hotel and they provide a free water station where you can refill your own bottled water. Breakfast buffet was good too, except the soup was too salty for us. We were surprised when we asked to reheat our own food, there was a charge for like 200-250pesos just to use their microwave, or maybe due to their eco-friendly concept to avoid using more energy? 🤷♀️

Our stay at Belmont Hotel in the Philippines was, unfortunately, less than satisfactory. Initially booking for a week, we encountered numerous issues that made our time there quite unpleasant.
Shortly after settling into our room, we were informed of power interruptions, necessitating a move to another room. Regrettably, this second room was infested with ants, prompting yet another relocation. This process was frustrating and inconvenient, especially considering our substantial luggage. Moreover, the replacement room was considerably smaller than the one we had originally booked. Notably, for couples seeking a romantic stay, the room was equipped with two beds instead of one, which was not what we had anticipated.
Despite our plans to extend our stay for several months, we were disappointed to find that after just three weeks and a significant amount spent, we were not permitted to prolong our reservation. This situation left us feeling unwelcome and ultimately led to our premature departure.
The condition of the hotel itself was below expectations, calling into question its claimed four-star rating. In reality, the quality was closer to a two-star establishment. The air conditioning was either uncomfortably cold or too warm, with no middle ground. Additionally, the smoking lounge outside required frequent transitions between extreme temperatures, contributing to health issues such as persistent flu during our stay.
The breakfast buffet left much to be desired. The offerings predominantly catered to local cuisine, leaving limited or non-existent options for foreigners. Arriving even just half an hour before the end of breakfast often meant finding no food available, which was disappointing.
Many staff members appeared to expect tips for routine services and were somewhat rude if not tipped. Furthermore, the quality of room cleaning was subpar, and essential amenities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and even toilet paper were not provided, necessitating our purchase of these items.
In summary, our experience at Belmont Hotel was marred by a series of disappointments and inconveniences, ultimately leading to an untimely and unsatisfactory departure.

I took the complementary bus from D'mall to the hotel. I was greeted with a blue welcome drink upon my arrival.
The check-in was smooth. They allowed me to have an early check-in by 1pm instead of 3pm. Shout out to the front desk personnel, Marv, who have been very thoughtful. He noticed my hoarse voice and checked how I am and whether I had medicines for it. He ran through the things I can do in my stay which included a free sunrise trip, a free new coast walking tour, a keyhole tour (P100.00), early bird (book a day ahead) 50% discount on spa services, ebike rental (P800.00/hour), free use of frisbee, kayak, paddelboat, volleyball and football, among others.
The deluxe room was nicely furnished. The design was warm and cozy. You can find a comfy queen bed with feather pillows, a sofa, TV, electric kettle, fridge, complementary instant coffee, a balcony, shower heater, bidet, bath robes, hangers, towels, hair blower, and shower gel, and security box. There are water dispensers in every floor near the elevator. A minor flaw is that you can hear the guests outside the room but it was a rare occurrence.
The beach was around 300 meters walk away from the Hotel. The sand was not as white as the white beach but not as crowded too which I think is nice. It was low tide when I went to the beach and wasn't able to take a dip but I was able to walk going to other beaches and to the keyhole. The beach had recliners and I enjoyed relaxing there.
The only downside is the limited food options around the hotel since it is secluded from the rest of boracay. I suggest taking the complementary bus to d'mall if you're looking for more (cheaper) food options. The buffet breakfast was fine, it had simple salad and fruit bar, a selection of bread, waffle, selection of eggs, rice, 4 viands, coffee and juice. I'm pescetarian and I came quite late and the option I was left with was baked beans, vegetable sinigang (I think it was fish sinigang but I missed the fish), vegetable omelette, the bread and salad but I still enjoyed it and felt really full, enough for a brunch :)
The hotel has a medium sized pool and a gym and you can access the bigger Savoy pool for free if you don't mind the walk. Beach towels can be availed for free.
I only stayed for a night but I would come again for a longer stay. I was sick when I came and I had the rest that I needed. The beach was really healing and the room was comfortable. Thanks Belmont.

It's evident that you had a wonderful experience, and your feedback is incredibly valuable for both the hotel and potential future guests. It's always great when staff goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a comfortable stay. The detailed description of the deluxe room amenities, beach experience, and the available activities, along with your insights about the minor flaw regarding noise outside the room, gives a comprehensive picture for those considering a stay at the hotel. We booked here as we were attending a wedding also being held at the hotel. This was our first time staying in the New Coast area, which is ideal for those seeking privacy and a quieter atmosphere, away from the hustle and party scene. However, the hotel building is quite a distance from its own beachfront, which was a bit inconvenient.
Getting to Station 1 can also be challenging. While there is a free shuttle service at certain times, you need to reserve in advance. With three towers in Belmont, there’s only one van per trip to and from Station 1, so slots fill up quickly. They can arrange an e-trike, but it costs ₱300 to get to Station 1.
The breakfast buffet was underwhelming, though they do offer a discount from ₱1,000+ to ₱550 per person at the frontdesk.
What really frustrated me was how difficult it was to reach the operator for assistance. On one occasion, I needed to inquire about something, and after 15 minutes of ringing with no answer, I had to go down to the front desk myself—which is quite far from Towers 1 and 3. It seems they’re understaffed.
But special mention to Ms. Czarina and Sir Johnsy, who assisted us during our stay—your help was greatly appreciated!

The hotel is in Newcoast, a new and still uncomplete development in the North-Eastern corner of the island. Newcoast includes Savoy (soon also the Chancellor), is connected to Fairview (the golf resort), and has its own beach. Some people say that Newcoast is on the "wrong" side of the island, being far from the port and on the eastern side, exposed to the winds during the peak season (Amihan). However, please be aware that Visayas do NOT follow the same rain patterns as Luzon, and during my 10 days stay it rained very little and its position was ideal as it was sheltered by the Habagat winds from south-west. The beach is not as powdery as White Beach, but it's still enjoyable, as long as the tide is high.
The hotel is definitely on the pricier side, but you can sometimes find deals that make it much more enticing. The restaurants and stores around the hotels are still few as the development is yet to be completed.
With that being said, Belmont (and Newcoast in general) is the perfect compromise for someone who wants to be far from the chaos of the stations. You can do whatever you wanna do by staying here, but you also have no crowds, in general. The service is on par with many 5 star hotels I have been to, even though some amenities are not (the TV, the Toiletries, the wardrobe). The pool, which is criticized by some, when not overcrowded definitely gives a more exclusive feel than that of the Savoy, which is obviously designed for parties and kids. The food at the café was average, but I would say better than most food I have tasted in the Philippines.
The true weak point of Belmont (and Savoy) is transportation. Do not rely on the free shuttle. Just get used to the HoHo Southwestern tours buses which have a much much higher frequency. Ask the concierge for info. Otherwise it will be 300p to go to the Dmall with a tricycle, which can get pricy if solo. If you have a filipino bank account I assume you can also use the "Boracay Xpress" app to order a shared tricycle, which is much cheaper. Hopefully they will open up the app to foreign cards too.
Another thing that must be improved is insonorization. I got woken up by people talking in the hallway more than once.
In summary, I had an absolutely pleasant journey at the Belmont. Its surroundings are still developing. With the opening of the Chancellor the area may get more commercial activities at the expense of the tranquility. But as it is, it's great to relax while still having the opportunity to enjoy the Boracay nightlife once in a while.

Quite far from the usual Stations of Boracay - it being at station zero, travel was a bit exhausting and I’d say will be rewarded by a longer stay - sadly we only have two nights to spare. We took an early flight but had to wait for the usual check in times at 3pm (strictly followed)!
- You are greeted with “Mabuhay!” By each and every staff you bumped into - every time. 👍🏻 Very friendly and accommodating staff.
- Shuttle to DMall is a complimentary service with a booking requirement though in case you want to visit the other stations.
- Fire dance and other ganaps are only available during weekends only. Sadly we stayed on weekdays, so no luck seeing those.
- al fresco dining was available but with just few stalls opened so I guess limited options if youre the adventurous type of traveler. In house dining are also available.
- Tours and activities are also available at the front desk.
- As far as the complimentaries, most are at the guest requests - from slippers down to the laundry bags. 👎🏻
- Breakfast buffets are sulit so its a must try/avail.
- Beach is a bit messy with all the unwanted weeds and all but I guess better than the green algae of the other stations… and its not crowded 👍🏻
Not much to miss from the old stations and given that facilities are made available as you may find the need to cross stations - overall a better experience especially for those who wants a rest and time out from a busy and noisy world! I’d still say yes to station zero stay, Belmont - not too bad for its price! Must try! 😉
