White Beach is the main attraction of Boracay and this hotel is too far, about 15 minutes drive from beach ....... situated on a hill..... whereas a lot of hotels are available near the beach. Although we booked near the beach, my travel agent Cox and Kings mismanaged this and put me me here at the last minute. There is...

Very enjoyable 4 night midweek stay in one of the Casitas. Staff very friendly and helpful, room clean and functional with a huge bed. Breakfast provided which was OK. Good shuttle to the main area on the hour every hour and free shuttle to the Jettyport when we had to leave. Overall a very pleasant place to stay.

We booked here from Hotels.com for the first time. Although hotels.com failed to coordinate our arrival in the hotel still okay because when we get there they welcomed us with a sea shells necklace, my mom and my kids love it. They also welcomed us with a cold mango juice while waiting for our room. Never imagined this place is...

On arranging our trip to Boracay my friend and I decided to stay for 3 nights and booked accommodation. But after looking at the beautiful beaches on Boracay we realised we wanted to stay another night, our original hotel couldn't bring our date forward by a day so we booked in for a night at Hotel Soffia. We arrived late...

Stayed for a week. We were satisfied but this hotel is difficult to review because many of its advantages can also be seen as disadvantages. However, the hotel tries its best to address those disadvantages. 1. Location. The hotel is located on a hilltop in Yapak. The views are amazing, probably the best on the island. It is also a...

We stayed at Hotel Soffia for one week. We found the service prompt, honest and highly attentive. We stayed in a Casita that was spacious and always well kept; toiletries and towels topped up, cleaned room on a daily basis. While you could find many faults if you were looking, the problems were minor. We turned off the generator or...

Staff are very friendly and helpful especially the restaurant staff only complaint is that the cleaners seemed only to make the bed and replace towels. Severe ant problem in the hotel, cannot eat in rooms as you will see an influx of ants within hours. We noticed ants on our bed when we first arrived and had to switch rooms....

Stayed here for 7 nights over the christmas, booked a room 6 months in advance with a king bed - arrived to a twin room, after approaching the staff about this issue the beds were simply pushed together with single blankets left on each of them! The room was small and dark and the bathroom press was broken. After 2...

Great hotel... it's a bit far from the white beach-15 minute drive I think bit we didn't mind as the hotel provides shuttle. We enjoyed their amenities during our 5 day stay.. The room was clean and the breakfast was great. Friendly staff. We will go back in December. :D

I stayed at Hotel Soffia last 11-13September 2015. I've never stayed in a hotel away from Boracay's Main Beach as I thought staying in the main beach gave me accessibility to restaurants and shops, on top of Boracay's fine white sand. Hotel Soffia surprised me. It was peaceful and a change from the now-crazy main beach. Mingling with the crowd...
