Awesome stay, good accommodation and staffs are friendly. We enjoyed plunge pool, infinity pool and main pool, especially the kids. Rooms were clean and complete necessities. Plus, nearest access to our needs - DMall, Restaurants, beach and etc. Thank you Altabriza....
We really enjoyed our stay especially the plunge pool and the infinity pool. All your staffs are friendly and courteous especially Elmer. We will definitely recommend you to our friends a d family!!!!
Very good accommodation, friendly staff and super cozy rooms. Located at the center of Boracay, few steps to D' Mall, and surrounded by affordable restaurants and convenient stores (Local and imported). Highly recommended. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
It was our first time in Altabriza Resort Boracay and I can say they are superb money cheaper than other but all of us can say its worth fun vacation. Nice, clean and spacious room. Infinity and main pool were really great. Daily breakfast buffet were served free and its all delicious its ambiance were outstanding. The staffs were friendly from the beggining till we checked out they were there for us to help and assisf in everythng. Another plus point to this is very near to evrythnng the most important places in Boracay is near to Altabriza. 10 stars for Altabriza from accomodation, staff and location. Thank you so much for making our holiday a memorable one!
For the rate I paid it could have been better. I booked directly to their website and it was too late to realize it was more expensive than other sites. They asked me at least 2 times what was the occasion for the travel and I told them it was my bday. I got a bday card size of a calling card saying happy bday without my name. There are many ways to delight a guest without spending. And this hotel did not do anything. Room that was given was 2 beds even if I requested for queen or king. No bath mat, no iron, I had to request for that. the hotel is not even fully booked but FO told me that no room available with such bed. Only thing good is the breakfast, at least food is ok. When we checked out, FO said our room is cleared already a housekeeping already checked so she allowed us to check out after we paid for the extra person. We were in the car already when my niece realize that she left her airpods under her pillow, she came back and then they gave us the airpods and I also left my blanket. So I guess if we did not come back we will not get back all of those that we left in the room... I don't think it is worth to come back.…
Commendation for lifeguard manong Rommel who always see to it that our plunge pool is free from leaves and other floating things.I forgot his name from my previous review of Altabriza. Overall,Altabriza has a big potential to be an exceptional resort only if they consider seriously the reviews made by their guests. Thank you Altabriza!
Booked directly on their own website for 6N7D.It was fast and smooth using a credit card for our reservations.I also ask Altabriza to arrange our logistics to and from Caticlan airport. It was Layod’s Transportation group who fetched us fr d airport in Caticlan. The signage’s font they prepared was big and bright but they were so lazy to hold it and welcome us with a smile. We booked a land transportation simply because we wanted to have a worry free vacation. It was pricey but we availed it.It costed almost 15K for 8 adults and 2 kids.It was even a shared jetty ride.Only d van transfer was convenient because it was exclusive only for us.The way Layod’s handle our land transpo were not good.I was expecting a more professional way of handling logistics since that is the service they are offering.I am disappointed compare to the way Boracay guide handled us a few years back.Boracay guide was very professional, fast and efficient.Layod’s were slow specially in the jetty arrangement. If I am the management of Altabriza I would not continue any contract with them anymore. In fairness to Layod’s,the best thing thing they did was to fetch us on time for our departure. Now,let me tackle our Altabriza experience.Ist,the check in process was just ok.There were some issues which made the check in a little bit off-hand.Then we finally agreed to settle our bill using the same credit card I used for the reservations online, front desk staff named Flor told me that the cc machine is not working.I don’t want to argue because I am exhausted and so as my parents and kids from travelling. It was obviously a way of letting me settle our bill in CASH.Good thing we brought an ample amount of cash with us.What if we just brought cash money for our food and miscellaneous expenses only?We would probably run out short with money. Thus, our vacation will be ruined from the very beginning, sigh….! Secondly, the following morning when I was in the middle of my breakfast a F& B staff named John Rey approached me and another female staff(I forgot her name btw)They were informing me that I needed to pay for the 2 children ages 5 and 10 for their breakfast.I tried my very best to hold my patience and compose myself or something terrible might occur right in the middle of everybody in the Tangerine resto.I must admit I raised d tone of my voice to them on the third time they told me to pay. What a way to start a day right in the middle of our meal.Very inconsiderate and untrained way of dealing with hotel guests.I stood up to go to the reception myself and explained to d front desk staff named Joy that what they are doing is not right and very distractive for their resort’s reputation. It appears to be that they were trying their very best to extract more money out of nothing.I worked in the hotel industry before and I am a frequent traveler as well as my family.Children are not usually charge for the complimentary breakfast for each room with 2 adults and 2 kids occupancy. Some hotel’s standard room can accomodate 2 adults and 1 kid but the rule of child stays free remains the same.We booked 3 rooms all having twin beds and each room has 2 adults and 1 child arrangements except for the last room which was occupied with 4 adults.I paid for the two extra guests which they ask me to be added in my bill.So it was truly a huge dismay and disappointment when they started asking me to pay as if they were trying to generate their revenue by charging me with buffet breakfast for my 2 kids.Honestly,my kids ages 5 and 10 are picky eaters most specially my 5 year old who doesn’t even like any of their buffet food varieties.Joy the receptionist however, tried to explain the things to me in a very polite manner.Though,I told her with my strong affirmation that I am not going to pay these extra bills they were asking.Joy apologized since she knew that I settled all my rooms and transpo bill on the very ist day and 6K deposit for any incidentals.Flor on the other hand called me in the room to apologize but I was not around. They didn’t bother to call me again to apologize personally but that’s ok the important thing was my side was heard by the management. However and in fairness to Altabriza’s Tangerine resto,I myself,my parents, brother and sis n law truly enjoyed the buffet breakfast served everyday. The varieties in their buffet breakfast is not that grand but all the necessary food choices for breakfast were there.I love their array of local bread varieties like pandesal and ensaymada. My favorite was Japanese noodles paired with a very tasty chix soup and complete choices of condiments. Rooms are of decent size but impossible to have an extra bed request. We booked 2 superior and 1 deluxe which has its own plunge pool and cute balcony with coffee table and chairs.I appreciate the cleanliness of all our rooms.Sparklingly clean bathrooms and toiletries having very good fragrance except for the lotion. The plunge pool was truly inviting that my kids immediately jumped in from excitement and happiness. All our tiredness from traveling paid off when we started seeing the beauty of our rooms and the hotel’s 2 infinity pools and other facilities.I was actually worried when I started seeing men working on the 5th floor since our rooms are all located on d 3rd.However,their rooms are equipped with soundproofing that I didn’t hear any noise once I close the balcony’s sliding door.A petit lifeguard constantly clean our private pool and was very friendly to me and my family.Incidentally,he was also from New Washington in Kalibo where my sissy in law lives.Unfortunately,I forgot his name. He’s short with a good body built.Kudos to you manong! Problem with room card keys started on the last 3 days of our stay.It will automatically disconnect with their system wherein we had troubles of waiting outside our rooms in 316-317 many times. The response was quick but the hassle was awful. The most shocking thing happened to us was when someone knocked our door at room 318 on our third night. It was around 1:25 am and a man wearing a cap asking if we were the one who requested a massage bed.Who the hell will request a massage bed in d wee hours of the morning.Plus,I was told that a massage bed wouldn’t be necessary if we wanted an in room massage. We can use the same bed in the room for any massage services. Therefore,I was really alarmed and reported it immediately to the front desk staff the same day.For the safety and security of guests Altabriza should review their CCTV footage. It’s quite alarming and an important issue not to be neglected. Anyways, our overall stay was honestly wonderful. We enjoyed splashing in their infinity pools most specially the one located on the roof deck.It has a spectacular 360 views of Boracay and its neighboring islands and other resorts and beaches.Altabriza’s roof deck has an excellent vantage point for sunrise and sunset viewing.Location wise,5 mins walk to d’ mall and about 8 mins to d white beach in station 2.It has Watson’s on its left and Jollibee in front and many other restos.Very good location but not beach front. Kudos to the housekeeping staffs named Lyca,Devine and Edlene.Front desk staffs named Joy,Flor and Steph.F and B staffs named John Rey and female one with him.Manong security on the roof deck too.Klien from reservations who patiently and politely answered all my queries and requests. Thank you beautiful Altabriza, whilst our stay was not that perfect from my expectation but at least we have achieved a good memorable stay somehow.😘I hope thos review will help a lot of other guest and tourists alike as well as the management itself to help improve your services.…
I would rate this hotel 3 star for now. Will list down all good and bad below. Hopefully they will make adjustments after reading this and won't take it personally for the cons. Pros: - excellent location (near Watsons, Jollibee, Mcdo, Dmall, 24 hour grocery, etc) - nice pool and dining areas - clean rooms and facilities - nice staff - quiet area for remote work - rooftop pool and view of sunrise Cons: - Slow internet speed - Several rooms and some structures are still under repair (railings of balconies are mostly rusted) - Limited buffet breakfast dishes - Hair dryer overheated Price is okay. But I will only recommend this hotel only if they fixed the cons above and then maybe give them 4.5 stars next time. I've stayed in many hotels in Boracay.
Our Boracay trip would not be this exciting and memorable without our experience staying at this Hotel. We originally booked a small accommodation by the beach but we have decided to look for a place near the main road on our last night. This place was the perfect choice for us because of its proximity to Dmall, affordable fastfood reataurants, supermarket and drugstore. On top of these, hotel employees were very accomodating and friendly! Special mention to Flor of Front Desk who was very responsive to our requests despite of being the only staff at the frontdesk the whole day. Will definitely recommend this Hotel to our friends and family members who will visit Boracay in the future.
I'm really glad to have booked my last-minute Boracay trip at Altabriza. The amenities are good, the location is quite excellent, and the food is pretty OK. Plus the staff are super friendly and accommodating. I was given two options: a king-size bed with a balcony overlooking the pool, or twin beds with pool access. I chose the latter. Kudos to Kenneth and the housekeeping and concierge teams for providing excellent service.
