We really enjoyed our stay at calypso. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, clean and big. It is worth the money just for the room itself, nevertheless the free motorbike that is included is a very nice extra bonus that comes in handy!

It a little way out of the chaos of Alona beach, but all the better for it. Rooms a good size, food is ok nothing to shout about, but the pool is nice and so are the staff who are helpful in assisting with onward travel.

Our stay at Calypso resort was great. Although the owner wasn't around the staff made us feel very welcome and are very helpfull. The rooms are simple but clean and provide everything you need. The free motorbike rental that comes with the room is an absolute win, because exploring bohol on motorbike is in one word amazing.

Upon check in; the lady at the front had no idea of our reservation due to the owner being in Switzerland and he had not sent any emails letting them know. (We booked a week in advance). They put us in an Air conditioned room and we were happy. 2 days later they told us we need to pay more... More

So, where do we start. First of all: the Rooms are big, clean with a nice terrace in front. Swimming pool is very nice, food is good, staff is friendly. Pooltables, nice garden, can use a motorbike for free, badminton field, not in a busy part of Panglao. And that all for a very reasonable price!

Calypso Resort is a great place to stay when you visit Bohol. Not only do they have great rooms (with or without airco or van) for a great rate but you also get a motorbike with your room. This makes traveling on Panglao and Bohol fun and easy! The people of Calypso resort are very welcoming and nice. They help... More

This place was recommended by some friends we met on our trip. It was a really quiet place 5 minute drive from Alona Beach, with a welcoming swimming pool, lounge area, pretty good wifi. For $790 you get a fan room for two, plus a scooter. The room is really standard, with a small outdoor table area. Unfortunately, we came... More

This place felt more like free bed with motorbike rental...we spent 3 nights here. Staff was cold and unfriendly - the least welcoming we felt on our entire trip. Some of them were clearly miserable about living and working there. It was too bad. This one had been listed in the Lonely Planet book, but I wouldn't be surprised if... More

My fiance and I had a wonderful time here last week. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and feel looked after. They got a new battery for our motorbike and had it installed before 630 am for us. They were truly great people to get to know and helped make our experience one we will... More

“Room nr 5 has Air con and a huge bed, but it's above the bar and next to where the staff stays. The other rooms are small buildings (not nipa huts) around the pool. I think they only have fans.”
