Don't have any hesitations about staying here; Puerto Pension is great! Things that stand out: Great value for the money, clean/comfortable rooms (especially the bed!!), lots of outdoor common areas, wifi throughout the pension (they have three password-protected signals so you never lose connectivity), restaurant is good, and they have the most helpful staff.

On our first night in Puerto Pension, it was a valentines day. We were fetched by an airconditioned jeepney and the driver/tour guide gave us a rundown of what to expect in Puerto Princesa. He even suggested some places to visit, restaurants to go to and food to try (though we haven't tried the tamilok) When we reached the place,...

The location of PP is very convenient; as it is slightly off the Rizal Avenue (which runs through the town, and all the restaurants, bars, money exchange, almost everything is on it), so everything is accessible and yet you are located at a quieter part of it. The bay walk is only a minute away-round the corner. The view from...

I originally wanted to stay at Daluon Beach and Mountain resort, An airport pick-up service was provided for us upon our arrival, The ride from the airport was smooth and the staff were very pleasant when we arrived. Cold welcome drinks were served and our room was ready despite us arriving an hour before the required check-in time. Breakfast was...

Really nice place with good views from the restaurant. The room we stayed in was small, the double bed is small, only good for small people. Convenient pick up service from the airport. Staff is helpful. Not sure if it is worth the price.

Only stayed one night but it seemed like an ok place to spnd longer. Got woken up very early with staff going up and down stairs outside our room to top floor restaurant. Reception was very helpful. I would bypass puerto on my next visit though. Dont forget to get heaps of cash at the ATM !!!

We highly recommend this place for several reasons. This was our first time in Puerta Princesa and wanted to stay at a place that offered a genuine Palawan experience. Upon our arrival the courtesy shuttle picked us up on time and brought us to Puerto Pension. The staff greeted us warmly and even provided a complimentary chilled beverage. The place...

This hotel was referred to us by a close friend. We did not expect the service to be very good, specially the staff, so friendly and unmindful of the mess we did since we arrived 13 pax with teenagers messing around in the verandas. The lunch we had at the restaurant was so disappointing though, expensive and lousy. But we look...

After almost 4 years I went back to Puerto Pension despite the fact that there are more newer hotels in Puerto Princesa since it became a tourist attraction for its subterranean river. Nothing much was improved of the structure. Bathrooms were improved and so is the water system. The water no longer smells like sulfur. Towels though must be replaced....
