This was our first stop on our Indonesia adventure and really started off our trip in a great way. The booking process was smooth and also highly recommended - this place is always booked out in advance so not a great option to try and walk into off the street! Great location in the original backpacker district of Jogja, with...

Stayed in Jogjakarta 3 nights. The hotel staff helped me to do my planning for the rest of Java trip giving advices on places and prices and tips whee and how would be easier to organize it cheaper. The guy who is there during the day speaks good English and is very communicative joining new arrivals talking on the terrace....

This is a lovely hotel on gang 2 with plenty of places to eat and also plenty of options here to book tours. Sammy and his staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are spacious and clean though smell a little musty. The terrace is great to relax and people watch, would definitely stay again if I come back to...

I enjoyed my 4 day stay in andrea hotel. The owner Sammy is very helpfull and will help you to book tours. The breakfast is ok as long as you are not a big eater in the morning. The rooms are small but clean and there was only cold water. The hotel is located in the city centre close to...

First of all, there is no such thing as Andrea Tours, despite the brochures you are given on arrival-- when you book a tour through the hotel, you are handed over to a company called Simple Tours (what a euphemism)... precisely the kind of crappy agency Lonely Planet warns against. This is especially bothersome as Hotel Andrea clearly has a...

With his adorable staff everything is amazing. Rooms are comfortable and really clean ( my firs priority when I travel) , the terrace...

The staff was very helpful and spoke great English. Sammy helped with trip planning both in the city and for future destinations. The room was clean and tastefully done. The location was excellent. Walking distance to the train station and also to shopping in the city and historical locations nearby. I felt very comfortable. I love how the staff always...

Decent option in a popular tourist area. However, I thought it was too pricey given that there was no window and that we had lots of cockroaches in the bathroom!!! The hostels advertisement reads "Clean and comfortable" but all those cockroaches did you match this Claim. I was nervous showering as I was on a constant watch out for an...

The staff are very friendly and the layout is perfect with a nice sitting area out the front. Definitely recommend staying here, however don't get too comfortable on this side of town (Sosrowijayan) as the other side (Prawirotoman) is also worth checking out.
