We spent our 5D4N in De Pendopo. Overall Experience was okay. Staff is friendly and the complimentary local breakfast was really awesome. Location wise, it is convenient. All the pubs, eateries and mini mart are just walking distance. The homestay itself is quiet as they have only 4 rooms. They even have a small cozy corner for you to read....

It's a really lovely place tucked in an alleyway off one of the fun main drags. It's a peaceful home (especially once you get used to the unavoidable calls to prayer.) The staff were super-friendly and helpful. Nice, simple breakfast included, which you can enjoy on your own little patio! Thank you, De pendopo. –Robert S

We really appreciated the cosiness of the homestay (4 small rooms) and the friendliness of the family. The homestay is located near a street with quiet a lot entertainment facilities (restaurants, bars, spa's..), but well hidden and thus quite calm (if you are not vistung during ramadan). The rooms are small but offer everything one needs. We liked the bathroom...

*overall impression* We spend 5 nights at this homestay and felt quite homely thanks to the owner Ibu Ira! We contacted Ira via FB and she replied promptly, giving us a discount of 50k IDR/night and also some useful and very thoughtful hints for safe traveling by train - without us asking for any of the two! Generally, Ibu Ira...

We stayed here almost a week. The owner is really nice and helpful. She arranged taxis for us when we needed. Once we had a problem with the taxi driver (he took a detour to let us pay more and went to the patrol station while the meter was running and it was only a 15 minute drive) and she...

I have stayed at De Pendopo before, and in this visit, stayed for 3 weeks. I think it is great value. The atmosphere is better than a hotel, and the small group staff are always happy to have to chat. I absolutely love the Indonesian breakfast options. Although it is a a little further away from the areas I'm familiar...

awesome little guesthouse with 4 cosy rooms in a garden and a traditional javanese style house in the middle serving as common and breakfast room. Totally quiet in a back alley but only a few meters away from Yogya's backpacker central. Very friendly owner and staff, always up for a chat. Simply the best place!

The family rooom, consists of 3 bedroom, large bathroom and also a patio. Really satisfied with what we got. Cons- only one thing, the main door of our family room we broke at that time....
