No chairs for relax sitting...I must sitting in bed for reading, watching TV .... 4. Toilet door can not close perfectly and the floor always in wet...

I recently stayed at the Metro guest house for 5 nights. I only read the other reviews here after having left and I'd say my experience was somewhere inbetween. My fan-only double room with ensuite bathroom (150.000 rp/night incl breakfast) was spacious but not very clean, especally the bathroom which was just plain dirty. The room wasn't cleaned for the...

I stayed in Metro Guest house for three nights. The structure is very nice and in a good location, next to a street full of restaurants. The rooms are ok, with A/C. There were some spider webs in the bathroom, which are not very nice, but besides that the room was overall clean. The staff was vey helpful, They helped us...

This guesthouse is ok, but not great. The assets:  centrally located in the Pirowatan area, big swimming pool, clean bed sheets.  Not so good: no cleaning of the room or changing tools in three days, only three places to chill in the sun near the swimming pool, cobwebs on the ceiling in the bedroom and a leak toilet. It shows that...

Old furniture but overall is quite good. AC, TV, spacy bathroom (include bath tub) and breakfast include (nasi soto). Location near Keraton. Swimming pool. If travelling on budget, Metro is a good alternative. But dont expect much as the price says so.

I find the other reviewers pretty harsh. Dont exPect anything new and mOdern. It is an Old place and furniture is slowly desintegrating but it was clean enough, no bed bugs, and quiet. The pool is actually accross the street but seems clean. Breakfast very small, 1 egg and 2 white toasts. But for 150,000 rp in that area for...

You can tell from the look outside that they have been in the business for a long time. It's almost an institution in Jalan Prawiritaman Area. Too bad they do not own a website and the prospective travelers who rely on the internet are diverted to the "published" competitors. The front service was very helpful, they even allowed us for...
