The floor in the room was not clean enough, but other locations were okay. The bed was so comfortable and the quilt was so clean. The service attitude of the staff is good, especially the house keeping is worthy of praise. However, the soundproofing of the room is average. This time, a couple was isolated. They often talked loudly, which sometimes really scared them. Fortunately, they fell asleep early, otherwise they would have woken up from the noise. Thanks for the free breakfast, but I believe guests won't mind paying an extra 20 to 30 yuan for some extra eggs, ham, sausages and milk cornflakes. They can limit the number of entries and exits to control costs. It would be better if the hotel itself has catering services. You can suggest sending it to the second floor to enjoy it, or paying an extra fee to enjoy it in the room to prevent it from staining the place and causing too much smell. The location for storing luggage in the lobby is really scary. It makes the hotel lobby, which was originally okay, very cheap. You may consider storing your luggage in the G/F location. The design of the front desk location is too casual and gives people a very sloppy feeling, which affects the guests' perception of the front desk staff and lacks privacy. Once during breakfast, I saw a colleague talking about gambling. He was really loud, so I felt bad. The quality of customers cannot be controlled, but the quality of employees must be paid attention to.

I stayed here for 25 nights, just as the covid restrictions were easing in Jan-22. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, and the staff were very helpful throughout. The room overall was a reasonable size in a very good location, and sheets / towels were changed on a daily basis if required. Guests should be wary that there is fan which runs 24/7, and bought ear plugs to solve this problem. Breakfast was included however this is limited to bread and some small buns, and although there was free tea / coffee daily, breakfast could be better. Overall I was happy for the price I paid, and would definitely consider staying here again in the future. A special mention to Dennis Dulay who was working on the first day I arrived. He made every effort to sort out all my problems, and once again thank you very much for all your help.

Location: I booked this hotel as it's just a few minutes walk away from the Ferry Terminal which I came in from. It's also just 1 MTR stop to Central which is also walkable but good to have that option. There were many buses also nearby but I only stayed for 2 nights so didn't really need it as I just walked most of the time. It's a perfect base for exploring Sheung Wan area, Hollywood Rd, Upper Lascar Rd, Mid Levels and then Central. Lots of quaint restaurants and coffee shops. Lots of antique stores, lots of art graffiti along the small alleys, etc
Hotel Facilities - first of all its modern and clean which is what I was looking for. The white decor made it really nice too. I got a room on the 22nd flr which was really nice, views of the high rise buildings beside each other. I got a corner room, which I think made it look a bit smaller but still spacious enough, even for 2 people. Bathroom had a shower, water pressure was excellent, temperature was good especially when needing a hot shower.
Bed was very comfy and big, a bit high so some people might have a hard time, but I love it. Pillows were also very fluffy yet firm enough. Each room had 4 pillows.
Airconditioning was ok, although I would prefer to have it cooler, I think it's still controlled as the temp never got about 25 in my room even at full blast.
No international outlet, only local HK outlet so you'll need a travel adapter. They sell one at the vending downstairs, but better bring yours from home to save some dollars.
The lounge at the lobby floor 2F was excellent. They serve breads, croissants, and excelelnt coffee every morning. I did see some people brought their own food and just heat it up. There are a few tables inside and also there is an outdoor area which is cute and refreshing area. Some gym weights at the corner as well for folks needing some exercise. I had enough just walking around HK streets LOL. At the lounge, there's also an ice machine that's avail 24 hrs, so in case you need some for a cold drink in the evening in your room, you can just grab some downstairs.
Staff was great and helpful. They all speak or understand basic English. Front desk is 24 hrs in case you need anything.
The area was safe, a bit quiet at night but I never felt unsafe walking around. The front door is locked at a certain time, so you'll need your room card to open the door.
There's a nearby 7-eleven nearby, but also a grocery in the same block so very convenient. MTR is a just a few minutes walk away as well and bus stops at the main road 2 blocks down. Taxis ply the road just outside the hotel so it's very convenient in case you need one to the airport express, just hail them.

When we booked the room we actually didnt noticed the currency was USD then after payment I sent message to the hotel and compaint why the default currency was usd not hkd. And i requested to cancel the booking however due to it was prepaid booking they are not able to do free cancellation.
The hotel was located at the Sheungwan area and we arrived at midnyt. The check in was smooth and we were given a family room/suite. Room was decent and clean. Staff was courteous especially the room attendant. The hotel provide free light breakfast at the second floor where the reception, lounge and mini outdoor gym was located.
The hotel is situated at the center beside supermarket, walking distance restaurants and shop.

The hotel is new and the room is not too small for Hong Kong. The cleaning staff are friendly and courteous. The hotel is located 5 minutes away from Sheung Wan MTR station, and the room has a sea view. There are also many timeouts and restaurants nearby. Tenants who encounter more problems with front desk staff will be impatient. However, some tenants may ask for too much, but there is still room for improvement in front desk service. The shower partition is made of frosted glass, which would be awkward if you are not a couple. When I am a friend taking a shower, I need to go to 2F to avoid it, so I might consider adding a shower curtain. The hot water in the pantry in the 2F registration lobby is broken, and the temporary hot water kettle is not replenished frequently. The employees are busy helping guests check in, and the pantry is ignored. The overall feeling is good and the price/performance ratio is quite high. If you are on a business trip in Central and Sheung Wan, you will also consider staying here.

I am a new expat working here in Hong Kong and I tried to book for a week first to see how it goes before I decide if I will take their long-term stay offer. First thing I noticed was there were no bellboys that can help you with your luggage. Kinda hard for me who is travelling solo and I have a lot of bags since I'll be in HK for a year. Plus, reception is at the 2nd floor so you have to carry everything there then carry it all again to your room. However, when I got to my room I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it is. The room is small which is typical for HK rooms but there's a lot of drawers to put your stuff in so it won't be messy. The staffs are all very helpful and approachable. There's a self-service laundry as well so you can do your laundry at your own convenient time. I have extended my stay for 1 more month to see if this is a place I can stay on for a year. The reason why I did not extend for the whole year yet is because I kinda want to cook my own food because I have a lot of food allergies and the hotel doesn't allow it. So if this is something that doesn't concern you, then I really recommend this hotel. It is worth your money! :)

Dear LeiAnnPalacay29 Thank you very much for selecting the iclub Sheung Wan Hotel. It is much appreciated of your positive comments and sharing the wonderful stay experience on the TripAdvisor platform. As safety concerns, I am afraid cooking is not allowed in guest room. We however have a communal kitchen on 2/F where you can do some simple cooking. Hopefully this helps. We look forward to making iclub Sheung Wan Hotel as your home away from home. It is a 3-5 minute walk from Sheung Wan Station and there are many restaurants nearby. The station is close, so you can easily access the ferry, Peak Tram, and Central. The water pressure was strong and good. However, it was a bit narrow and the dryer didn't work properly, but I paid this price with the intention of sleeping anyway, so it wasn't too much of an inconvenience. There was a review that said it wasn't soundproof, but unless you meet a noisy person, you don't know anything about noise. The refrigerator is not very cool. Overall, the electronics seem to be in poor condition. However, the price and location make up for it. Breakfast only consists of bread and coffee.

Stayed for 2 weeks and found the house keeping team doing a great job. I usually turned on the "house keeping" button in the morning as I went out to do my errands. Came back 2-3 hours later, the room was always clean and tidy. Toilet paper/facial tissue paper/slippers were usually replaced/refilled without me chasing them. Thank you for making my stay pleasant and comfortable.

Every day housemaid change towels, wash floor, clean bathroom and give 2 bottles of water. Each 3-4 days change bed. All furniture is in good condition. Air conditioner work great. Staff is polite and always try to solve your requests. People on reception speak English fluently. Location of hotel is also good. Just make a circle around building and you'll be able to buy all necessary stuff like soap, power adapters, sponge for body and etc.. Around the building are food stores, restaurants, bars, smoke points. On foot in 5-7 minutes you can reach subway, tram and bus. In 10min coastline.

This is an awful place to stay with worse customer service. We made a booking for two weeks in this hotel based on the reviews, when we arrived we had issues in the room such as noises and water leaking in the toilet. The bed is absolutely uncomfortable with very old mattress so don't expect any good rest. Don't get me started on the breakfast. "everyday at Iclub Sheung Wan Hotel begins with a delicious in-house breakfast" this is their misleading statement. You will get toast bread, jam and butter (self service) that's it. We tried to negotiate to cancel or reduce the stay, but they refused. Don't waste your money in this place
