This hotel is about 10 minutes walk to the nearest Train station. And also about 10 minutes walk to the a great halal canteen. They have a sister hotel called Cosmo hotel just two doors away where you can enjoy a lovely time sipping complimentary coffee at their outdoor terrace. This hotel also provide free shuttle to the city and...

This hotel is highly recommended as it is close to everything. It was for a business travel so I was expecting something not too luxurious but has all the essentials. It provided the exact experience I expected.

Stayed in the cosmopolitan while I was visiting a friend that works in Hong Kong. I found the hotel trough Booking and found an even better offer on their website. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a room on the 21st floor which added to the overall Hong Kong experience. So if you're looking for a nice...

the reason i chose this hotel because many reviews said that it is in a good location. i don't see any good thing about the location. it is in a business area, in a corner, and nothing else to see but closed offices at night. the hotel management seems to realize about this, so they provide shuttle bus to take...

Dear Banyulantan, Thank you for your feedback. Locating amid the busiest city centres of the city – Causeway Bay & Wan Chai, we hope to bring our guests a sense of oasis after a long busy day. Yet, it is only an 8 minutes walk to the nearest Causeway Bay subway station with various bistros and boutiques around the corner....

small but newly refurbished rooms, everything you need and a short walk to Causeway Bay and Wanchai. Great for the rugby sevens and super value for money in a city state where people can lose track of what a hotel is for...great staff who remember you each time you visit.

My wife and I stayed in the Cosmopolitan hotel for three nights at the beginning of October 2013. Hong Kong was the last leg of our trip having visited Shanghai and Beijing over the previous week or so. I felt compelled to write a review which counters the many highly rated reviews that can be found on TripAdvisor about this...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your comment. First of all, we are sorry to know about the occasional waiting time for checking-in the room due to high occupancy during this particular stay. That said though, our colleagues had immediately arranged you a welcome drink and tried their best to get the room ready as soon as possible. We appreciate your...

I travelled here as our first stop on a multi-trip. Despite giving us a disabled room (my boyfriend and I are nearly 6 foot) they managed to give us a decent room. The rooms were clean, reasonably-sized and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast for the three mornings we were there. The omlettes were delicious. Location-wise-Causeway bay and Admirality on...

We spent a very pleasant week in this hotel. We paid to upgrade to a deluxe room as we got breakfast thrown in with the price. Just beware of the 10% service charge they sneak on the upgrade bill. Our room was overlooking the racecourse and had a very nice city view. My only complaint would be the beds are...

My new wife and I spent 4 nights at the Cosmopolitan Hotel as part of our honeymoon in September of 2013. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant member of the front desk staff who checked us in and upgraded us to a Racecourse view room on the 9th floor. This is slightly larger than a standard and...

The hotel decoration is very nice, our rooms was very small on the 25th floor. Nobody to assist you with your bags when you check in. The bathrooms are done nicely and the beds are comfy, however they need to change the pillows.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
