Went on a family trip and stayed at V2: Clean and hygiene environment: The staffs are friendly and helpful: Not truly a hotel as there is no lobby available and you would need to keep your head held high to notice the signboard as well. There are lots of eateries around and it is truly convenient!

This was for a business booking, booked by an assistant. Tucked one small block away from the Wan Chai MTR, this 30 story 'hotel' is barely noticeable from the street - if you miss the large 'V' sign above the entrance. There's no lobby as such, but more of a concierge desk and a lift to the reception on Level...

Stayed here for 2 nights during October 2015. This hotel seems more like a boutique hotel to me - modern looking, clean and staff are generally helpful. You are surrounded by food stalls, shops near the hotel. It is also walkable to MTR. The staff was nice to upgrade me to their suite. Room is spacious especially in HK context....

We did the booking via the internet and found it hard to make a decision so picked this one on price so were very skeptical. This accommodation worked out really well the location is near the buses and trains shopping and was quiet at night. Safe area as we were walking around at 11.30pm and never felt threatened. Staff went...

My partner will be flying in to visit me during mid-nov, and hence I decided to book a stay of 4 nights at V Wanchai hotel 2. Her flight will arrive at 1000, and hence I guess it's only reasonable that I request for an early check-in at noon, instead of the usual 2pm. Also, I asked that they guarantee...

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on a business trip to HK. The hotel was easy enough to find, and I had no problems with checking in or out. The room is more like a studio, decent sized for 1 person (should be fine for 2 people too) and had all the necessary amenities. The only thing I...

I tried this Hotel as it has a very good location in Wanchai, but they got so many wrong things. First the room design may be trendy but it is badly executed. Too big area for pantry, then if you want to watch TV at night you need to keep your blinds totally open and when you close them the...

Firstly we loved the location of the hotel and the abundance of affordable food options around the hotel! Our check-in and check-out was smooth but they could improve on their people/communication skills. The standard room is a reasonable size and nicely decorated. The bathroom is nice as well the only problem we had was with the rain shower. When we...

I stayed 1 night in the V Hotel Wanchai 2 booked mainly due to a great price and good rating on trip advisor. Overall I was happy with my stay. The room was nice and had facilities of a serviced apartment (washing machine, etc). It's a great location, there are some genuinely wow moments (good view with city lit up...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
