The hotel is very clean with helpful staff. The location is very close to Wan Chai MTR Station Exit A3 and A4 just a couple minute walk. However, the hotel has been change to service apartment with minimum stay of 1 month.

Stayed in twin room. The room is well maintained. There is complimentary coffee/tea. An iron with ironing board is provided. The air con can be manually adjusted. The blind is working well. There is a set of sheet blind which you can use, and free up the area near the window for you to put things. The bathroom is a bit...

Very nice location if you are attending a convention at HKEC. Nice clean rooms. Loved lounging around at the lobby for the free happy hour. Excellent service especially Noel at the front desk. Will definitely stay here again the next time I need to attend a convention.

Located in the heart of Wanchai. 200m distance to a Metrostation. Equipped with a big working place and a nice video/ audio equipment. 7/11 and other food stores very close, breakfasts possible in a nearby hotel (8min walking).

We were for the first time in this hotel. It is very good lovated. The next MTR station is only 5min by foot. The room, although we had the smallest category, are quite spacious starting at 33 square meter. However, as you can see on the pictures added, the room was not sufficiently cleaned. There was dried urine next to...

The location of the hotel was good as it was about a 5 minute walk to the Wan Chai tube station. I wasn't really keen on the Wan Chai area and I would probably stay in a different location next time but the hotel itself was brilliant for the price. We were upgraded to the top floor with great views...

From the entrance of the hotel , you can't really tell how well this particular hotel is done up. I stayed at other V Wanchai before but it's not all the same. Once you take the elevator up to the check- in floor, the whole mood changed. The interior is done tastefully, considering they don't have a lot of space;...

I was upgraded to a beautiful, large suite with wonderful amenities. The bed was comfortable, the closets spacious, and the bathroom well-equipped with multiple shower heads and three sinks. There was even an unexpected washer/dryer and fridge in one of the cabinets. The blackout window shades were especially helpful. I can't imagine a nicer hotel in which I could have...

Initially I wasn't happy with my room, as it was smaller than promised. However, I went to reception and they were very friendly and happy to upgrade my stay of 8 nights for no extra charge. The beds are very comfortable, and the windows are huge, with electric blinds (nice touch). The only negative is the flooring in the rooms,...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
