This is my second stay on the boat. The first was in the roof suite, this time I'm downstairs in the spacious captain's suite. The bed is very comfortable, the bathrooms are much better than I expected on a boat. Catching the sampans can be a little inconvenient, particularly if you have alot of luggage but mostly I find them...

We live in crowded, downtown Hong Kong and had rented a room out on the Moksha for a weekend staycation. The Moksha is easily accessible by boarding one of the many sampan water taxis plying the waterways in the marina so getting there is a breeze. Saral is a great host and extremely friendly. We had a lovely conversation with...

What lovely hosts! Saral, and the helper Citi were lovely, meeting us on arrival and so helpful. We were two couples, myself and my wife (35-40) and my parents (60-55). We had the top room for my folks, the bottom room for my wife and I. The beds were amazingly good, better than any bed we had in China. I...

What a fantastic experience! We stayed for 3-4 days. Loved having to flag a sampan down to get to shore. Enjoyed coffee on the back deck watching the sunrise over the foothills each morning. Heavenly. And a great price. Sweetie and Saral are fabulous hosts. Citi and her wonderful smile took great care of us. I can't say enough -...

I'm really saddened by the fact that I have to submit a bad review for Moksha. I would have absolutely loved to submit a glowing review raving about the service I got and how cute Moksha was considering I had been looking forward to my stay at Moksha for months, having read the glowing review of Patrick F and having...

Such a great place to stay. My girlfriend and I were in Hong Kong in July and blown away by prices. We could pay some inordinate amount for a hotel room that amounted to nothing more than a bed and four walls. Or, we could stay in one of the mansions, but those mansions aren't mansions like we think about...

“Top room is larger, ideal for people thinking "I want this to be more of a hotel" and luggage. The downstairs room is more for people who travel light and are fine with a compact room, perhaps looking for a feeling of "Were on a boat!"”

“Next time I would stay in the room on top of the boat, just for the added view.”
  • This is Moksha. Imagine sitting on this deck watching the sunrise each morning.
