An excellent choice in Kowloon right on Nathan street, close to everything. Great breakfast included, and front desk staff most helpful, as was the door staff and concierge. The room was unfortunately a smoking room which smelt a little bit not too bad. Shower was fab!! We were close enough to walk to the ferry across to HK and to...

Not a posh hotel but adequate for the price. Don't expect perfection as no teaspoon might be provided but the electrical controls are simple and excellent. Comfy beds on the ideal 6th floor. Door attendants virtually 24/7 to open the front doors and sometimes call the lifts. Efficient front desk service. Very useful room safe with imperfect instructions. We did...

We booked the rooms looking at the room pictures however the all the pictures on the websites are fake, the room which will be offered to you will be nowhere close to how it looks like in the picture, too small room size that only one person can fit. No place to keep the luggage, since its a smoking hotel...

the hotel is within just 2 mins walk to Jordan station. Accessibility is unparalleled. Super spacious room which was unexpected in Hong Kong. Very friendly & helpful staff. And couldn't fault its cleanliness. Overall a pleasant stay for my husband and me.

It's was pricey due to last minute, but the people there were kind and friendly. They helped me and guide me to tourist location. Room is kind of small, but it enough for two people. Bed is twin XL size for people and only WIFI in the lobby and 1st floor for free. Just look out for their deal!!!

The location was great because it's just beside the MTR. You can even walk to the harbour city. Staff was friendly. The buffet breakfast was average but at least it's buffet! Hihi! Free wifi on rooms. Only one block to the bus station going to airport. The back of the hotel have lots of authentic Chinese foods!!!! Great hotel! Great...

The location of this hotel is simply amazing - just a few steps from the MTR Rooms are small ( as in all hotels in Hong Kong ) but was not a problem for us considering we only used it to sleep - was out all day exploring the city. The value for money is just great because you do...

This hotel is situated 30 metres from the entrance to the Jordan MTR,at the Bowring St exit. This is very close to all the shops I like to visit. On checkin they told me of the time for breakfast, I advised them that I had an early flight and would have already checked out. They said that wouldn't be a...

We enjoyed our stay here. It was really near the busy area of the city, all establishments that you need to check were just a walking distance. The service of the staff was also good. I’m not just so sure with the restaurant, because we just ate there for our breakfast. I like the free tea (green tea and jasmine...

I like the location, very close to subway, and some spots are in walking distance. But just like other hotels in HK, the rooms are too small and the beds are too small. And the TV is too old... But the breakfast is pretty good, with a very high price...

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
