This was my first time staying in a hotel that provides guests with a complimentary smart phone, data included. My employer booked the hotel for me, so the complimentary use of a Samsung Galaxy was a surprise to me when I checked in. Saved me the hassle of buying a temporary SIM card and made navigating Hong Kong much easier...

This hotel is quite well situated fairly close to Times Square and MRT. The room was very small with next to no room to enter the bed on either side, but this is Hong Kong after all. The lifts were very slow. The staff were very helpful and free internet with each room having its own unique password was good....

Good location in Wanchai. The circular shape of the hotel meant the rooms were like cheese wedges in layout, meaning they're spacious (3 large windows!) - unusual for HK in this price range (about $110/night). Quite walkable to convention centre but they have a good free shuttle service. 2F restaurant isn't special but HK is a foodie paradise so I...

Good location close to restaurants and shopping, free shuttle bus to the convention centre. Expensive breakfast, and omelets are NOT included. Good, but small size beds. Clean and effective staff. Indeed a very Chinese hotel.

This hotel is conveniently situated close to the MRT and on the major bus and tram routes. The internet and smart phone services provided by the hotel are excellent and free of charge. The very efficient staff ensured smooth check-in and check-out processes. My room was small and clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom met all expectations. The shower...

This is a pretty good hotel, all in all. It has a couple of perks that I have not seen even in 5 star hotels, which were very surprising. The room I had was a bit small, but had all I needed and was very comfortable. Nice bathroom with good and spacious shower, dedicated internet connection in your room, and...

I thoroughly good stay in a professionally well operated hotel. Whilst there I used the restaurant (very enjoyable and well presented meal, see photos) as well as the business centre with it's great views. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to Times Square and the MRT and also on the major bus and tram routes. Staff were professional and...

I was traveling for a convention and the hotel served its purpose for a resting place. It provided a handy phone which was a delight as I could use it to connect to WiFi. Location is quite central and I learned that a shuttle commutes to the convention centre since I preferred walking. There are quite some eateries around and...

walk down the street of HK and youll spend 500HKD without having anything to show for it or any memory thereof. this hotel was not easy to find from the subway, its not in a SUPER convenient area, its about 600 meters from shopping district, and subways, the staff only talked to us once to tell us to stop playing...

Nice hotel in Wan Chai, close to Causeway bay MTR station. The 101bus stop is in front to go thru the cross harbour tunnel. The food market where locals buy is behind the hotel. Times Square is 2 blocks away. I would add a pic but TripAdvisor app is broken

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
