We stayed at the Salisbury -YMCA. The staff were lovely. The room had a great view of the Harbour, could see the light show at 9pm every night. The room was very clean, there was a bowl of fruit in the room. Breakfast was great,...More
Very good hotel, at reasonable rates, especially for HK. They do charge HK100 a day for internet, so add that to your decision making if you are like me and must have internet. Otherwise we have absolutely no complaints. Lovely view, nice rooms, great concierge,...More
We stayed in the family suite with our three children in late November 2011 and were amazed by the spectacular views from the floor to ceiling windows. The room was very clean and the hotels location is perfect for exploring Hong Kong. The children loved...More
The rooms are big and clean. The location is convenient to any attraction in Hong Kong. A couple blocks from the MTR and Star Ferry. Plenty to see and do within walking distance of hotel. The price is reasonable considering the location you are getting....More
Stayed in late Nov'11 in Harborview room. Wonderful room, received fruit basket and daily newspaper. Would recommend said room if an insomniac, watching the waterfront at night. Symphony of Lights can be viewed nightly from room, however, not with the accompaniment of the music. So...More
Tsim Sha Tsui is one of the major tourist and shopping areas of Hong Kong. With a high concentration of hotels, retail shops and commercial offices – it’s a busy and bustling neighbourhood that never sleeps. On the surface, Tsim Sha Tsui seems to only feature an abundant number of high-end retail stores selling designer brands and jewelry, owing to its popularity with high-budget shopping tours. However, it also
contains a diverse range of attractions for the entire family. Whether taking a walk in Kowloon Park, exploring museums, going shopping or grabbing a bite to eat – Tsim Sha Tsui has something for everyone.

The hotel actually comes in two parts with the front been a real hotel in the sense it trades like any hotel while the rear section I believe is like a YMCA. They both have the same entry and restaurant on the ground floor.
However the only reason I always stay here is because of the high standard and the fact I can get a harbourview at a very reasonable price for Hong Kong. I believe you could not go wrong staying here. You should contact the hotel directly to ask if there is a discount. I never have because I am not a member of YMCA
