The Salisbury YMCA is a good hotel and in a perfect location for exploring Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. Wonderful views from the front rooms overlooking the harbour and just a few minutes’ walk from the Star Ferry.

We stayed at this hotel for a week at the beginning of February 2018. We found the staff to be very helpful and attentive. The Salisbury is right next door to the famed Peninsula. Now the Peninsula is a grand hotel with grand prices. The...More
Fantastic location. Rooms with a view of the stunning Hong Cong harbor at night. Accessible to subway transportation and to lots of shopping. The rooms are comfortable and have all the services of any high-end business hotel.

Tsim Sha Tsui is one of the major tourist and shopping areas of Hong Kong. With a high concentration of hotels, retail shops and commercial offices – it’s a busy and bustling neighbourhood that never sleeps. On the surface, Tsim Sha Tsui seems to only feature an abundant number of high-end retail stores selling designer brands and jewelry, owing to its popularity with high-budget shopping tours. However, it also
contains a diverse range of attractions for the entire family. Whether taking a walk in Kowloon Park, exploring museums, going shopping or grabbing a bite to eat – Tsim Sha Tsui has something for everyone.

The hotel actually comes in two parts with the front been a real hotel in the sense it trades like any hotel while the rear section I believe is like a YMCA. They both have the same entry and restaurant on the ground floor.
However the only reason I always stay here is because of the high standard and the fact I can get a harbourview at a very reasonable price for Hong Kong.
