I and my friends were staying at Royal Plaza hotel for staycation. The staff “Vincent Cheng” is very helpful! We can quickly check in the room and enjoy the service. The room we stayed was clean and with very good view. We all had a pleasant moment at Royal Plaza!
There is a new self-served check-in service in Royal Plaza hotel. Instead of long queue at lobby for check-in via front desk, it’s great I can use their new Smart Hotel Robot - Guest Services Robot for self check-in of the hotel room. It just took few minutes to complete the check-in process and I got the room keys right away. Excellent! Keep up the good work!
- Front desk During checkin, i approached the front desk receptionist (name Summer), she asked my id card and when I gave it out, she even didn’t look at it and check, then immediately told me I am not in their system, not able to checkin. Then I showed her the page of the hotel confirmation with the full name of my friends, surprisingly she couldn't find the bookings. I approached another receptionist, i also provided the same things to him and he could smoothly checkin for me. I was wondered what does tje first receptionist doing. - Room The room is hot and AC could not be adjusted lower degrees (20 degrees is the lowest and definitely not the real temperature of the room). We sweated and not in a good sleep with hot temperature during the night. And also we would like to check the breakfast time by calling down to reception but found out the phone doesnt work. cant even call to the staff as a usual standard hotel should have. - Breakfast $80 for each, comment: nothing to eat and drink, highly recommended eat outside. Very less options during the buffet, 9:30am breakfast time, most of the buffet trays/platters r empty. For example Bean with tomato sauce is without beans, dim sum trays no dim sum, veg trays no veg only few mushroom left. No nice food there. No refill or if ys, super slow. It made long queue for egg/omelette and noodles area. (Need to wait for 10-15mins) Noodles r healthy, no taste The juice self serve area, running out of juice and no refill. When we get back the seat after the long queue, the table is set up again and the waiter thought we left. - In conclusion My frd who checkin earlier told me they need to in long queue more than 1 hr in front of front desk. I dun understand why there is not too much negative comment in the tripadvisor with this hotel.…
We had stayed at royal plaza hotel during 29 May to 30 May. We book a set of connecting room for important issue. Nice view at 17th floor. The hotel is special. The front desk team is great especially Jason Chan and Kaylie Lung., polite, efficient and professional. Solving all of our concerns with patient, hence we had a comfortable stay and relax, appreciate! Will definitely be back.
Good experience when i visted a week ago, a staff named Kiki gave me and my family a warm welcome during the checkin, where there was a long queue. The room and facilites were in high qualities, especially the gym that offers wide variety of machines which are suitable for different level of users. The hotel location is also convenient where you can grab some food and walk around the mall and the district.
