The Grand Hyatt Hong Kong has an iconic status among Hong Kong hotels and after some 2 years it is completely refurbished like a new hotel. It truly is a grand hotel, has a most impressive outdoor swimming pool (the longest of all hotel pools), a grand lobby, and multiple food outlets. The modern rooms are very beautiful, and has...

Another great Hyatt hotel, first class service and staff. The Aircon in our room was broken when we arrived and when we asked the desk to fix it they upgraded us we were very happy with the quick fix.

This was our second time staying here at the Grand Hyatt in Hong Kong. From the front lobby to the rooms you will be delighted at the decor of this Hotel. They have a beautiful pool as well and great buffet breakfast. The staff are always there for us if We needed anything at all. Absolutely love it here!

Here for two nights on a layover to Bali. Everything was perfect. They anticipated anything a traveler might need, and all done with style, right down to a loaner smart phone. The breakfast buffet was amazing. We loved the power window shades, plain and blackout. Lovely harbour view. Expensive but worth it.

I had been to the Grand Hyatt on several occasions for meals and meetings but this was my first stay here. I was very pleasantly surprised by the high level of service at the hotel. Consistently, the Hyatt staff were friendly and approachable. On this trip, I had several difficult requests and each time, the staff were able to accommodate...

My family spent New Year Eve at this hotel and it was a brilliant choice. Pick a harbour view room, it costs more but worths it. We could see the New Year fireworks in our own room. Also it was very relaxing to see the harbour in the morning and night. The hotel has a huge playground on the roof,...

Definitely near the top of my list of hotels I stay in on business. Since the refurbishment the rooms are great and the harbour view is also something especially at night. On this trip I arrived at the hotel having just realised that I had lost my passport at the airport or on the airport express. The staff could not...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
