Eaton is conveniently located on Nathan Road with many shops and restaurants down the road. Very close to Jordan MTR station which is about a 5-10 walk, and a short cab ride to Kowloon Station for the Airport Express (you can also take the complementary Airport Express shuttle to the hotel from Kowloon Station; a shuttle every 10 mins). Staff...

3 nights on business. Rooms were fairly small but that wasn't too much of an issue - this I HK after all. Staff were excellent in the main, helpful, courteous and prompt with most things. Leo on the front desk was particularly good. However, it all felt a bit dated, one night the lights couldn't be turned off and the...

Hotel is conveniently located near Nathan Road and is easily accessible to the MTR (approx 3 mins walk). I was particularly impressed by the staff at the reception counter when checking in and out of the hotel. They were very polite, friendly and very meticulous. The room is of acceptable size and is really cozy. I am one person who...

A spectacular way to escape the world and bustling Hong Kong... with lovely people like Marilyn, whom consistently go above and beyond their call of duty, it is no wonder I wouldn't dream of anywhere else to stay while I am in Hong Kong. As a part of the E-Club, you can enjoy a bit of peace and quiet mid-day...

The rooms although modern and well accompanied are showing their age. The two rooms I've stayed in so far both were in need of redecorating. The lobby staff are efficient but not friendly, and the lobby too small for the number of rooms so each time I've stayed I've found myself queuing for service. The pool on the roof is...

A comfortable hotel with good facilities close to the MTR and a short cab ride to Kowloon Station for the Airport Express. It provides an excellent buffet breakfast catering for the widest variety of tastes and requirements and there is a good choice of bars and restaurants

Eaton is a very good hotel in Hong Kong. Very well situated, on Nathan road, in the middle of everything and with many transport possibilities. The rooms are not too big but very smartly and nicely decorated- for us-2 people- they were just enough. We had breakfast at Main Caffee, which was enough to start the day. There are a...

I stayed at the Eaton this June because of its location; generally very handy with numerous buses able to take you into TST. It's also not far from the MTR, which is about a five minute walk. The hotel itself has good facilities, good restaurants and a high standard of service. The rooms are generally small, but I upgraded to...

We booked a superior room with Club facilities. The room was large with everything you needed and a view over the neighbourhood. Breakfast was included and was buffet style with a large variety of food. However, the standard of the western type hot dishes were below par for the rating of the hotel. We chose the buffet dinner one evening....

My room was very small and it didn't have a view, but it was very tidy and clean with comfortable beds and excellent water pressure in the shower. Great for solo travellers. Checkin and checkout was hassle-free. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Free shuttle bus to/from airport express Kowloon Station. The nearest MTR is Jordan Station - about a...

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
