Eaton is the best value for money hotel I have ever stayed in in HK. The room is a comfortable size, very clean and well maintained, the location is near the MTR and right in the centre of Nathan Rd, the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Can't ask for anything more. Definitely 5 stars!

We stayed here for two nights at the end of our China trip. Excellent hotel for location, right opposite the jade markets and Mong Kok markets are just up the road. (Best low end markets in Hong Kong) All the tailor shops and electronics places are nearby and we walked to the harbour for the light show and ferry. The...

This hotel is reasonably priced and in the thick of it all. Just step out on to the street and everything is at your doorstep. The harbour is a 15 - 20 min walk down the street and 4 street markets are within a short walking distance. The staff are very helpful and the entire hotel is very clean and...

We spent the last leg of our honeymoon here. We had a long day travelling from Vietnam and when we arrived we got a taxi to the hotel, checked in nice and quickly, arrived to our room to find a bottle of champagne and chocolates courtesy of the hotel which was a lovely treat. Our room was lovely, compact but...

It was ok I suppose. We went for a treat and upgraded to the VIP rooms with access to the lounge. Total waste of money. No selection of nibbles, stuck in the basement so no view or anything to look at, drinks were ok and service was amazing so would have been nice to be able to eat at the...

Dear Guest, Thank you for posting your comments. We are very sorry that you were disappointed with our E Club Lounge, we are reviewing the offers with our Director of Food and Beverage. We are trading at 98% occupancy this month and only a few rooms available on the day, however we agree that our staff should double check first....

Everything in Kowloon is packed in for space, so we were not surprised when our rooms were small (although perfectly formed). All the usual in room facilities including plenty of water, and a great TV. The hotel benefits from occupying all of its own tower, allowing it to make the most of the space. You arrive on the ground floor,...

The bus service that brought us to the hotel was really taking us a long time. I would recommend a taxi ride, because a bus service would bring other tourists to other hotels before you. You would have know that its not very close to the airport. However, it is almost right in the middle of Hong Kong, where you...

Positives : excellent location ie walking distance to shopping street, Tsim Sha Shu, Temple street etc. Negatives : Cramped rooms, bathroom too small, limited vegetarian options for breakfast, staff wasn't geared up to handle pressure / rush @ check-in counter.

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
