Dont' give them your credit / debit card. They liberally overcharged me HKD 1070 in "refundable" deposits for a two night stay. It's 3 weeks later and I still don't have a refund. There are other comparable hotels in the area - best use them instead.

Before I went to Hongkong, people had tried to warn me about the tiny hotel rooms here but I was still surprise how small this hotel room was. We are Asian sizes but the room was a bit too small for anything so I wonder what it could be for bigger sized people. However, the room was clean, bright and...

Yes, the rooms are tiny, but its very clean and you're a 5 minute cab ride to kowloon station (airport train) and a 5 minute walk from an mtr station. We paid 200 cad a night when every other hotel was 450 cad a night. And they didnt give us any problems when we had to cancel our last night.

Overall, good location, nice room. However the hotel staffs doesn't know how to smile!! Day duty manager and receptionist not friendly and helpful, but night manager- Mr Foster very helpful anf friendly service. I would give him 100% being hotel staff. If you willing to pay for HKD55/pax for b'fast, please don't do so(served-fried noodle(noodle only, no others ingredients), congee,...

Spent 2 nights here...forewarned about the size of the rooms thanks to TA so was okay with the size of our room which was well set out, modern and clean. While the room is small, the bathroom was fine and the shower was very roomy. The room has tea/coffee making facilities and the TV had a good selection of stations....

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
