I stayed here during April 2010 and my four day stay turned into a twelve day one due to the Ash Cloud! The Hotel rooms are decent sized with huge windows affording views of the busy street. The bathrooms modern and pleasant and the room air conditioned, a must in the humidity. The first floor pool (immediately above the reception...

This hotel is not very far from Hong Kong Central with a MTR station within 2 minutes of walakable distance. Very convenient in terms of commuting to & from Hotel to other parts. Rooms were reasonably spacious, however surrounding views are not too good. Almost all essentials things were there in the room. Bed was nice and clean. But there...

We stayed at the City Garden hotel over the Easter break for 4 nights. We chose this hotel based on the fact that it had affordable suite rooms. As we were travelling with a toddler we like to be able to put her to bed and still be able to sit up and watch tv etc in a different room....

Staff were friendly and efficient. Great buffet breakfast! Worth paying a bit extra for a room which includes 'Club Benefits' because these include free daily laundry allowance and access to Club Lounge for free afternoon tea/snacks and evening cocktails/canapes. Free wifi internet access too. Outdoor pool nice but it's in the shade in the mornings. No view of the harbour...

Stayed at CIty Garden. Firsty room allocated was dirty, ripped chairs and couch, dirty stains on seating and flooring. Bath tub covered in black stains and poor sealant. VEry busy hotel, horrible golden lighting throughout. Changed rooms without too much fuss, other room not much better, still dirty, can hear cleaner scrubbing corridors in morning lol. Nice location though and...

I arrived around midnight and was greeted by what seemed to be teenagers with no customer service skills and who thought multitasking included speaking to others about another customer / guest whilst attempting to process my credit card assuring and a good thing. It was a chaotic check-in, leaving me shaking my head. Rooms are average with dated decor some...

City Garden Hotel is a decent up-market hotel. Located nicely in North Point, the hotel is close to the MTR station, the airport bus shuttle drops off there and there are plenty of restaurants and shops on the doorstep, so location is great. Staff were efficient and very friendly. Check-in was smooth and there was no problem with me checking...

The hotel is very near to Fortress Hill Station (Blue Metro Line). There are many restaurants around and two supermarkets next to the hotel. The breakfast is very good, with many options. For Lunch and Dinner, be careful, there are two restaurants at the same floor (1st floor), avoid the one in front of the elevator, go for the Garden...

I stayed here with my husband during our week long vacation in Hong Kong. We had never stayed here before and I only had the comments I had read on this website to go on. So, I tried to keep my expectations low so we wouldn't be disappointed. We were very pleasantly surprised!! We had a wonderful stay at this...
