I really didn't expect that I would have such a bad feeling this day. The rooms I stayed have many flys and bugs flying around the bathroom and window, I could easily see some dead flys stuck on the white wall and lying on the desk. Most of the front desk staff are unfriendly and impolite, especially one of the male staff who is wearing black glasses. It's actually fine cos this is HK style even u stayed in a five-star hotel in HK, u may still have to meet some staff who are not in a good mood. The bed is really terrible, the (blood?shxxit?) stains on the top of the bed and duvet cover are very obvious. I don't even through that it could happen in a 4-stars hotel. To be honest, the hotel makes me very disappointed...

Overall services is UNACCEPTABLE AND UNEXPECTED POOR in term of hygiene, disinfection, cleanliness and service standard during my stay from 05 August 2022 to 08 August 2022. (1) Insufficient manpower is normal. Nobody answer the hotline of front desk, food & beverage, room service and etc. The front desk staff is running between front desk or concierge all the time. (2)The lift button at 12th floor was so dirty and hasn't been cleaned and sanitized for three days although I have notified the front desk and cleaning lady. It is so gross and discussing. It is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE during these pandemic period. (3) the staff called Issac at front desk is impolite when I was checking in at 05 August 2022 night. This made me feel upset. (4)The wet garbage has been sitting at lift lobby for more than one day. (5) There were mosquitos and small insects running into our room. This was crazy.

Check- in spend around 20mins. If with on-line check in or other ways to shorten the line up time is great. Staffs at swimming pool & spa are friendly. The room is big enough but the weakness is the toilet door wood blocks fall off. Is time to repair

The bed of the house is sunken, the pillow is uncomfortable, the air conditioner is not cool enough, the service attitude is very good, the food quality is OK, the wifi will be better if it can be used for a long time

Joined hotel package which includes food and beverage is cheap. Room is spacious but a bit old. Food are ok. Hotel staff are friendly. Especially the reception staff as they will try their best to help. I will give five bullets for all hotel front line staff.

Depending on your needs, this hotel may be a good and affordable one. In my case however, it wasn't anymore. I say it wasn't anymore because I've been in and out of this hotel several times already (pre protest/pandemic times so around 2018) but was extremely disappointed by my last visit. First reason: Outdated and vague info with travel agents I use Agoda all the time to book my rooms. I have trusted and have been using that platform for years, but because of this hotel, I'm rethinking of whether I should stick to it or not because I wasn't sure if it was the hotel's fault for not updating their hotel information with their partners or whether it was Agoda's fault for not asking for a regular info update from their clients. Either way, the losers are the one who books through them. I've provided screenshots, 2 from my phone, 2 from a desktop computer. Clearly this is not a separate case as both platforms offer the same option that enables bookers to choose a smoking room. One for filtering BEFORE choosing a room, another AFTER clicking a room of your choice. So that's TWO verifications before we even get to the payment screen. When I got to the hotel, the guy at front desk politely told me this hotel have been converted to a non-smoking hotel for more than 2 years already. I booked my room almost a month in advance and I EXPECTED a smoking room since that was what I chose, and the booking was successful. I don't care if this hotel has converted 1 or 2 or even 10 years before. If there's an option where guests can choose, then we as guests at least have the right to EXPECT that the property will deliver on the said option. Now, if the fd staff were to say they've ran out of smoking room then that's totally fine, I get it because rooms are limited. Hence the reason for my advanced booking. There's the term "if available" from Agoda. Please tell your partner that smoking rooms are NOT available, not IF available. Imagine that. 2 years. More than 2 whole years and Agoda still has the smoking preference on their platform. Because of this I got curious and scrutinized the room description even further and these are what I've found: Apparently your rooms have what Agoda calls "Soundproofing" or "Soundproofed rooms" from Expedia. Well they're not. All of it. From Standard rooms to Executive rooms. I haven't tried your suite rooms yet but I'm pretty sure its the same wall between all rooms. So I'm quite sure your suite rooms are also not "soundproof". Agoda claims you have a game room, which surprisingly, is also closed. Heck one of your lifts still has the Regala Esports ad on it! I mean really now? So its not just travel agents, even your own hotel don't update the ads you put up on your lifts? Expedia says you have a "Climate-controlled air conditioning". Hate to break it to you but its just a normal air conditioner with no other function other than cooling your rooms. It does not have a heater function. Expedia also says "rollaway/extra beds available on request" on all room types. I highly doubt an extra bed would fit in your Standard rooms. Expedia also claims that they have, get this--"Fireplace". A fireplace? Really? A non-smoking hotel with rooms equipped with smoke detectors and you have a fireplace in all of your rooms. How does any of this make any sense? Well it could've been an artificial/digital fireplace that doubles as a heater but guess what, they don't have that either. I've provided a screenshot again just to prove I'm not making this up. It says on Expedia's website "We found this additional room option on our partner site." There are so many things wrong about your hotel description on just these two websites. I didn't even bother looking for others, I wouldn't be surprised if other websites have more interesting details on them. Though in fairness, in your own website you don't have any of these crazy details. Bottom line, misleading hotel descriptions which are key in attracting people to book your rooms. They are misleading and vague. It might not be your fault because you don't control their websites, but still, you have the responsibility to update and or correct these dubious descriptions about your property. I feel like I've been scammed off my money from booking a soundproofed smoking room that has a fireplace with a climate controlled air conditioner, but got none of it. What I got was just a room with a barely functioning air conditioner. Expectations vs reality at its finest. Second reason: "Free" Breakfast Breakfast is included for 1 person only on a 2 person room. Again, how in the world does that even make sense? From a guest's standpoint it doesn't, but from a marketing standpoint, its a genius yet stupid move. Genius because its additional revenue after all. This hotel is low-key forcing people to buy 1 more breakfast because there's just no way only 1 person gets to eat while the other sits. Stupid because its a short term gain. Negative experience will deter people from coming back. They might buy it once but I doubt they will again in the future. As for me, I refuse to participate in this shameful tactic as a protest so I just gave my "free" breakfast coupon back when I checked out. I am utterly disappointed and I find this marketing strategy cheap and sleazy. So, I believe I speak for every dissatisfied guests who actually expected a smoking room from bookings that came from Agoda and who expected breakfast to be actually given in twos instead of just one. Please just tell your partner to remove the smoking option AND just remove the breakfast altogether. I would've felt just a little less disappointed with a non-smoking room but you just had to shove that one so-called "free breakfast" on me. In conclusion, you're supposed to give your guests an experience that makes them want to come back. But because of these 2 reasons I am never coming back. Ever. To think I actually recommended this hotel to my friends before. Of course its not all bad, I'm not that shallow. Positives are, staffs are nice, or at least the front of the house people are. but back of the house? well.. nuff said. Also this hotel is good for couples who are looking for a uhhh...quick nap. Rates are cheap though you have to book early. With so many couples checking in, they just never bothered adding their double bedrooms. A message to your marketing or advertising team or whatever team that's involved: whoever's responsible for not updating and or providing ambiguous hotel infos with your travel agents and especially the one behind that "free" one breakfast idea, pat yourself on the back. you deserve it. (I'm being sarcastic in case you didn't get it.) I may have been ripped off this time but not anymore. Not ever.

The Italian food provided through the package was too bad in quality. The room was not very clean. The air conditioner was too weak, especially in the night time. No matter what temperature you set, no change in the room temperature. Reported and they only came to change the filter and only suggested you to change to another room. But, who could guarantee the another room was better than this one and have to move all luggage and clean the room for them again! In fact, even the corridor outside was cooler than inside the room.

We had a bus theme room stay. My kids were very excited sleeping in the bus bed. The window was with wide view of the Sha Tin River. I could sleep on the window platform, watching the moon and the night sky. But the bath tube was small and the bathroom floor got all wet when I took a shower.
