Stayed one night staycation with my friend again. Pleased to have another pleasant visit. Staff are very kind and courteous. The room cleanliness is good and the view is nice. Very convenient place to gather with my friends and the lounge environment is relax. My first choice to stay away from my home.

Although there's a long wait for the room, the staff still keep their professionalism to answer my questions and requires. Big thanks to Owen and Sherrie for organising a nice view and bathtub room for me. It has been a very good experience to spend my vacation here with my boyfriend. Look forward to visiting again when the swimming pool is opened because it was closed on August.

The location is excellent, close to shopping and transportation. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Kelly, at the front desk and the housekeeping staff. The room is large and spacious. I'm also enjoying the well equipped gym as well.

Stayed here from 8th to 20th Sep 2022. Overall, a pleasant stay in this hotel. Location is great and convenient for your shopping, dining and banking errands. Room Furnishing up is a little dated but overall layout is functional and the room cleaners (2704) are helpful and courteous. Forget about the breakfast as there are much better quality food outside.

Our Best Stay Ever Regal HK Hotel is one of the best hotel we have ever been privileged enough to stay in. Everything was great at this hotel; Gorgeous building, the environment was pleasant and welcoming, customer service is excellent. The location of the hotel is very good and convenient. It’s located in the heart of Causeway Bay. It’s perfect for shopping and dining. The room is beautifully decorated and clean. The extra bathtub is a luxurious feature. We love the bed as it’s so comfortable; clean and supportive. My family and I had been staying in the hotel for 20 days and we had a wonderful time during our stay. Every staff member we encountered, from hotel baggage attendants( Bono) , check-in staff, laundry’s staff, housekeeping’s staff, manager was so nice, helpful and professional. They were always with warm smiles on their lips which always made our day. We would like to say thank you to every staff in Regal HK Hotel for making our stay so special and enjoyable, making us feel so welcome! All respect for the Guest Experience Manager, (Ms Kathy Chan) She is the best Hotel Manager I have ever met. She is very professional, helpful and kind. She helped me all the way during my stay. She sorted out my problem patiently and professionally. We would like to say a special ‘thank you’ to her for making our stay so enjoyable. We were deeply touched by her warmth, caring and hospitality during our stay. Thank you again for her time and generosity. Our overall experiences in the hotel were superb! I will definitely book Regal Hk Hotel for another stay when we visit Hong Kong again next time. Thank you so much.

Beware at staff attitude ! I booked this via agoda and no mention of quarantine when booking only a pcr prior to arrival , after booking this within minutes I then contacted hotel and said I am not willing to do the quarantine as my vacation was for only 4 days and means quarantine all the vacation. They wouldn't answer me even straight after the booking , then I got agoda involved of which I am a VIP member as travel alot . I admit my mistake but no mention of quarantine on page when booking ( which even airline made my non Refundable ticket flexi due to lack of information ) After 10 emails agoda said hotel would refuse all. I said I would not want refund , could I change dates etc...again refused.. Absolute shocking, beware especially in the world we live in now with this pandemic .

I stayed in this hotel from 26 to 28 July 2022. When I came up to the room, the first thing that welcomed me was the mold-like smell of the room. True enough, there was mold on the aircon vents and by the wall below it. The window bay sitting area had gross stains, the flush is filled with SUPER BLUE tabs, the shower area smelled like pee. I asked to be moved to another room but they said they were full so I let it go. The state of the room was really bad so I sent an email on the first day. Owen (not sure if I got his name correct) called me immediately and was kind enough to offer me a complimentary breakfast for the next day which I did not use because I had a prior birthday lunch booked and I didn't want to be full. I have stayed in five star hotels and the lowest stars ones in the likes of Mini Hotel but, Regal Hotel is by far the most disappointing one I have been to. The state of the room is REALLY BAD, the concierge/vallet staffs are either chit chatting or not on their post and NEVER courteous enough to greet guests or open the doors. One of their security staff on the entrance out to the mall was using his phone while working he held it down as I was approaching but immediately went on to it the moment I walk past him. There seems to be a lack of proper communication and training with their staffs. Upon check in, there 3 people at the front desk, only 1 is functioning, the other girl was I think training the other one. The queue was getting longer but the girl didn’t seem to mins. She went on with talking to the other girl. The pool was closed and they didn't tell me. When I asked the concierge when the pool was closed until his reply was "I DO NOT KNOW. THE MANAGEMENT DO NOT TELL US THESE THINGS”. In addition, I requested for my room to be cleaned at 11:30am when I left for lunch yesterday, I saw the housekeeping lady 3 rooms ahead of mine so when I came back after 3pm, I was shocked to see that the housekeeping staff JUST started cleaning my room because she said she didn't see the "Please make up my room sign". I understand that they are not a 5 star hotel, HOWEVER, I think that is not an excuse to give a MEDIOCRE service because to be fair, your rates are not that low. I was called by the reception NUMEROUS times because of noise complaints even when were not making so much noise already. I apologised to the receptionist because I know there were instances when we were a bit loud. I have been to a lot of hotels and NEVER have I ever been told to switch off my tv at 11:30pm because other guests are complaining. I have apologised about the guests who were on my room who were waiting till midnight to celebrate with me. I did not know I had to register everyone visiting, not staying with me, just visiting because it was not mentioned upon check-in. So when they told me, I did as I was told. But they really have to train their staffs with phone manners. Lastly, as I checked out, I was waiting for a taxi but a truck blocked the driveway for some deliveries so taxis couldn’t get into the driveway. What supposed to be a relaxing and memorable stay at your hotel turned out to be just memorable (NOT IN A GOOD WAY)

I have NEVER had such a bad accommodation experience ever (have been to 20 countries and stayed in hotels, including airbnb, two or three star hotels, guesthouses for many many times). It was so bad that i have to leave my first comment here. My sister and I stayed for six nights. On the first day, when we checked in, the hotel receptionist Kathleen greeted us with an impatient tone, which made my sister speechless and a bit mad, but we didn't wanna cause any problems so we let it go. The next day, when I returned to the hotel at around 1am, the entire lobby was filled with water, and there was only one elevator could be used for the next two days. On the third day, COCKROACHES were found on my sister's bed and by the TV cabinet in the morning. I politely asked the cleaning person to deal with them, but no cockroaches were found. We had to change rooms. The hotel staff were very passive during the whole process. I called the front desk many times and they kept hanging up the phone. Finally, we were able to change rooms. After changing the room on the same floor, I called the front desk and asked the staff to get the key card(of the old room) back. The staff said that there was only one elevator and it was too slow to come up. I said no worries and I would take it down and give it to them then. Kathleen was at the front desk while i was waiting to give them back the key card. But she did not even look at me or talk to me for the whole time. Then, I put down the key card and told them i'll put it here then left. That moment, i started to be mad. Those three days i tried to be understanding. I felt like i was nice enough to deal with all these unlucky stuffs, but seemed like no one respected us as guests. On the fourth day, at noon, we found that the bathtub was full of stains and asked the staff to clean it. But things got even worse at night. it was 12:30am when my sister finished taking a shower, we were going to take a bath in the bathtub. We found that the water was all muddy water. It was really mud(the hotel is being renovated, it was probably the sewage), My sister is a neat freak. That moment we couldn't bear anything anymore! We immediately called the manager to come up. The manager, kathy came up. I told her what happened those days. One good thing was at least her attitude made me feel that she wanted to solve the problem for us, and then she arranged an upgraded room for us. In fact, we were very tired after work (it was at around 1am) we didn't want to move at all, but there was no other way. And she also offered a breakfast for the next day (although it was not so good). After all these unfortunate incidents, we felt that we could not accept the service attitude and cleanliness of a five-star hotel. So we talked with Kathy for like 15 minutes about how we weren't respected. We asked the hotel to give us an explanation, and also asked the department director to contact us. (Thank you kathy, at least she patiently listened to us and tried to help and to understand. We were very resentful after those "unlucky" days.) Finally, the hotel director told me today, he would offer us a free night in September, and honestly, what's the point of a free night stay? I also didn't feel much respected and understanding from the hotel. During the communication, they kept telling me that they hoped i could be understanding. I told them that if I wasn't understanding enough, i would have been furious and asked for an upgrade room on the "cockroaches day". (Fyi i've never seen cockroaches in a hotel). It was really the worst stay i've ever had.
