Attending the Hong Kong TDC fair here and good place for shopping. Enjoy the nights here. To meet and talk business with client here. People here with quick life, quick walking Hong kong, a paradise of shopping, that is it.

Yes the room is bigger than average Hong Kong hotel rooms. It has a kitchenette and good location but there are a few flaws that frequent travelers can pick up. There is no marking for cold or hot water. So it's trial and error to get water temperature right. Then the bathroom which looks very modern but lack hooks for...

Originally booked a room in V Wanchai 2 but was said to have emergency renovations so this hotel was offered. Big rooms by HK standards and the service was great. Unfortunately, we were informed that the property will be converted to a service apartment next year and will no longer accept short stays.

Huge and comfortable room with kitchenette. Very near an area where you can unwind at night. Clean and comfortable. Although looking for the location of the hotel for the first time, I admit it was quite confusing using online Google map. Once we found the hotel it was very easy moving around. Only 3 to 5 minutes walking distance from...

It's located in a small one way street, and has no drive way of its own. So at first glance I thought I had made a mistake by booking this hotel. However, the staff at the front desk when we checked in spoke perfect english and was very kind. It is a fairly small hotel and we were lucky enough...

We arrived late and tired and were slightly put off by the unassuming entrance down a dark side street, but we were proved wrong. The studio rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. These are services apartments rather than a hotel, so there are no "common" facilities, e.g. bar, restaurant, but it is so well situated you can get just about...

We booked this suite based on the great pictures and some good reviews but it wasn't nearly as good we thought it would be. It's in a pretty good location walking distance to Wanchai MTR and near to shops and restaurants (try Dumpling Pro nearby!) but we had huge dramas when my sister decided to join us on our trip...

Background information: I booked a room at V Wanchai 2 for our visit BUT was told after a while that "emergency renovations" needed to be carried out and I was offered a transfer to V Wanchai at Jaffe Road. I took their offer because I had paid for the earlier booking and I did not like the idea of losing...

Comfortable, spacious apartment in Wanchai. Friendly, helpful reception staff. Basic but adequate kitchen facilities. In an off-beat and unpromising location, but was quiet and clean and avoided the high prices associated with upmarket hotels in HK. Excellent value for money. No in house gym but reciprocal rights at other V hotels - not that we used them.

I didn't book the place myself so i wasn't quite sure what i was going to find, but it is a nice little gem! A very nice little studio like apartment very clean and comfortable, roomy and quiet. It seems like it is secluded from the busy center of WanChai when actually it is right there tucked away in a...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
