Big hotel, big restaurant, nice restaurant private rooms. THere is a pool but did not go there. nice big room with huge bathroom. Clean. The only downside is that they cancelled 2 confirmed reservations without notice and did their best to increase A LOT the price of our other group reservations. That was not very nice.

Tianlai is a typical Chinese hotel that wants to compete with international companies. The truth? It's an hotel that base its business on government officers who attend any sort business, that makes it extremely local. The hotel has around 600 rooms. Nothing extraordinary as matter of fact you pay for what you get. The structure is divided in two buildings,...

Have to say I used to like this hotel and stay here often on business (at least 50days / year). I have also recommended it to other business colleagues who stay here when they visit, so all told I probably bring over 100days business to this place. The reasons I like it - location close to where I work, reasonable...

Chongqing is so crazed in its intense and polluted development that this first rate hotel 4 miles from the center is actually a welcome enclave. It has tremendous food --the executive chef visited twice and gave us great food as part of a buffet. This included stir fry clams and roasted fish with chile. The neighborhood has many teashops, hotpot...

The decoration is very old. I was in 1515 and the room shape is quite odd for the bath room looks bigger than the bed room. Basically there is no service here which is quite common in the west part of China. I ordered an omlet, but the chef asked me to picked what I needed so that he could...

This hotel would be fine if you were a Chinese businessman who smokes. We were a group of Americans on a business trip who had local contacts book this hotel. The check-in took forever because they could not find our reservation. All of our rooms had to be changed because they were all smoking rooms and none of us smoked....

This is avery large hotel, two separate blocks. Nice rooms and real nonsmoking floor, large gym and fitness centre very good equipment and huge outdoor pool. Breakfast is ok , normal Chinese fare but enough for those who like western food. The rates are very good, however it is a bit out of town.
